Yuhailou is one of the four famous libraries in Zhejiang. It was built by Sun Suo, a scholar in the 14th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1888), and was the place for his son Sun Yirang to study. China Movable Type Printing Culture Village is located in Dongyuan Village, Pingyangkeng Town. Dongyuan wood movable type printing is the only known wood movable type printing technology still in use in China. It can be called the "living fossil" of printing in the world, which completely reproduces the working scene of movable type printing, one of the four great inventions in ancient times, and is the best physical proof that movable type printing originated in China. In 2008, dongyuan village's movable-type printing was listed in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list, and now it has been identified as the first batch of "intangible cultural heritage list in urgent need of protection" (the highest level), and it has been declared to the United Nations in the name of "China's movable-type printing".
