Zhalantun Suspension Bridge Park is now a national 4A-level scenic spot. After several renovations, the park has become a comprehensive scenic spot integrating water entertainment, animals, flowers, monuments, etc. Whether you walk on the bridge, go boating on the water, watch animals, flowers and plants, stop at the stele corridor, stroll in the forest, climb up and overlook... you will feel relaxed and happy, and will never forget to leave. Suspension Bridge Park was built in 1905, shortly after the Dongqing (Middle East) Railway was opened to traffic. There are also entertainment venues such as the Liuguo Hotel (now the Railway Staff Canteen), the Middle East Railway Club (now the Zhalantun Museum), a sunbathing beach, an open-air concert hall, and Qiu Lin Store. Several other landscapes have either been lost or changed beyond recognition, but the Suspension Bridge Park has been repeatedly repaired and has become a place for people to play and rest.
