ueno park

ueno park, Tokyo's famous garden, is the first park in Japan, and its name lies not only in its beautiful scenery, but also in its ancient history and profound humanity. Before Ueno Park was built in 1873, many buildings and landscapes in the park had existed for a long time, and the location of the park was already a prestigious tourist attraction in Edo area. As soon as you enter Ueno Park, you can see the bronze statue of the Meiji era general Saigō Takamori, which has stood here since 1898 and has been admired by countless Japanese nationals here for hundreds of years. The historic sites in Ueno Park are far more than that. Because this place used to be the home temple of Tokugawa shogunate, the Toshogu dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, which was built in 165, became one of the most important monuments in Ueno Park because of its magnificent organizational system. This can be seen from the 95 stone lanterns and 195 bronze lanterns revered by the famous names listed on both sides of Toshogu Participating Road. Among them, the 6-meter-high lantern named "Ghost Lantern" is a must, and the Tangmen, Bendian and Chosen Temple in Toshogu are all masterpieces of Japanese classical architecture. As early as 1624, a complete Kuanyong Temple was built, and it still stands beside Shinobazu Pond. It was the cherry blossoms transplanted when Kuanyong Temple was established that opened the history of the famous cherry blossom garden in Ueno Park. At present, there are more than 1,3 cherry blossoms in Ueno Park, among which the famous cherry blossom "Yanjing Yoshino" is widely known to the world from Ueno Park. During the cherry blossom season every year, the crimson clouds on Sakura Avenue in Ueno Park have already become the first impression of Japanese cherry blossoms in Lu Xun's works. It is a unique way for Japanese people to enjoy cherry blossoms by watching "night sakura" under the night light during the flowering season. Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park is another place for citizens to play with a long history. It is famous for its lotus flowers. Every summer, the water concert hall by the pool always turns around with music, which is commensurate with the lotus flowers. Now Shinobazu Pond is a part of Ueno Zoo. Besides the black swan, wild goose, mandarin duck and other waterfowl that inhabit the water surface of Shinobazu Pond, there are nearly 6 kinds of aquatic animals to watch in the four-story aquarium on the lakeside of Shinobazu Pond. The zoo, which is popular for more than 3 kinds of animals, such as giant pandas and elephants, is connected with Shinobazu Pond in the west park of the zoo by a suspended monorail. The Peony Garden next to the zoo is a memorial garden of Sino-Japanese friendship in 198. The "lion's head" peony in its 35 s and various rare varieties attract countless praises every year in the flowering season. Ueno Park has a profound cultural atmosphere. The Tokyo National Museum, which contains 84 Japanese national treasures, is a precious building in itself. The National Western Art Museum, which houses masterpieces such as Rodin, Monet, Picasso and Rubens, the Tokyo Art Museum, which displays masterpieces such as traditional Japanese ukiyo-e paintings and oil paintings, and the National Science Museum, Tokyo Cultural Center and Ueno Mori Art Museum, etc., make Ueno Park a "cultural forest" reputation. In fact, the park had a historical relationship with the Sino-Japanese War in China in the early and late Qing Dynasty. Among them, two "anchors" show the history of Japan's small country defeating a great country in the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895. However, after World War II, due to the defeat and surrender of Japan, these two "anchors" expressing China's humiliation history were taken back by Comrade Chiang Kai-shek. Now Ueno Park no longer has the inscription and the anchor symbolizing history.

Nearby people raised funds to build a temple to worship this Buddha statue, which is Sensoji Temple. Since then, the temple has been hit by fire and destroyed several times. In the early Edo period, Tokugawa Ieyasu rebuilt Sensoji Temple, turning it into a big temple and a playground for nearby Edo citizens.

There is a 14-meter-long paving stone inside the gate to pay homage to Shinto, which leads to the main hall for Guanyin statue. There is a quintuple tower in the southwest corner of the temple, which is the second tallest tower in Japan, second only to the quintuple tower in Tokyo East Temple. There is Asakusa shrine in the northeast of the temple, which is elegant in shape and beautifully carved.

Before the birth of the Tokyo Tower, the tallest tower in the world was the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, but the Tokyo Tower surpassed it by 13 meters, reaching 333 meters. However, the building materials used are only half that of the Eiffel Tower, which took less than one third of the construction time when Tafer was built for one and a half years. With such little materials and such a short time, this typhoon-proof and earthquake-resistant behemoth was erected on the ground, which shocked the whole world. The Tokyo Tower was completed in December 1958. It was opened to tourists in July 1968.

In addition to sending various radio waves such as TV and radio, it also sends JR train stop signals when a major earthquake occurs, which has the functions of navigation mark, wind direction and speed measurement, temperature measurement and so on.

There is a four-story Tokyo Tower directly below the tower. Besides the entrance and exit to the observatory, there are also Tokyo Tower Aquarium and various souvenir shops.

nan zhengcheng (1294-1336) was a famous Japanese military commander. He played an important role in overthrowing the Kamakura shogunate and reviving the imperial power. In 1336, the army was defeated and committed suicide by caesarean section. After the Meiji Restoration, the Jianchuan Shrine was offered as a "military god" and its deeds were written into the textbooks of primary and secondary schools. Nan Zhengcheng was once the embodiment of Japanese militarism. In a sense, he was a sacred force to defend the country and a lofty image, which made people feel complicated emotions from the heart.

looking at the imperial residence from a distance is like a temple hidden deep on a hillside. I can only see two small white buildings, which echo each other. It was originally the Edo City built by the Edo shogunate in 1457. After the Meiji Restoration, the end of the Edo shogunate and the restoration of governance by Emperor Meiji, the Japanese capital moved from Kyoto to Edo, and the royal family moved from Kyoto to live here, and the imperial residence was built in 1888. During World War II, it was destroyed by air strikes by the US military, and the current imperial residence was built in 1968.

Hirohito, Emperor Hirohito who ascended the throne in 1926, has a feeling of hatred in the hearts of China people. The first 3 years of the Showa era were dark for people in China, Korea, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. At this time, the Japanese government was committed to aggression and expansion. In the 6th year of Showa (1931), the "September 18th Incident" broke out and the Japanese army occupied the northeast of China. In the 12th year of Showa (1937), the Japanese army provoked the Lugouqiao Incident and launched a full-scale war of aggression against China. In the 16th year of Showa (1941), the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and the Pacific War broke out. This is the darkest period in Japanese history and the history of China relations.

On August 15th, the 2th year of Showa (1945), after the Emperor announced Japan's defeat and surrender by radio, some soldiers loyal to the Emperor refused to accept the fact that they were defeated by the allied forces and committed suicide by caesarean section outside the imperial residence. The U.S. military occupied Japan and changed Japan's autocratic imperial system into a constitutional monarchy, and the emperor was preserved as a symbol of Japan.
