Guangxi Arts University

Guangxi Arts University, referred to as "Guangyi", is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi, the green city of China. The university is a characteristic and advantageous university in Guangxi and a university established by Guangxi Doctoral Unit Project. The school’s predecessor was the Guangxi Provincial Capital National School initiated and established in Guilin in 1938 by Mr. Man Qianzi, a famous Chinese musician, Mr. Xu Beihong, an outstanding modern painter and art educator, and Mr. Wu Bochao, a famous composer and music educator. "Basic School Art Teacher Training Class"; in August 1941, the private Guilin Art College was established;

In January 1946, the "Guangxi Provincial Capital National Basic School Art Teacher Training Class" and "Private Guilin Rongmen Art School" "College School of Art" was merged into "Guangxi Provincial College of Art"; in 1953, the school was abolished during the national adjustment of colleges and universities; in 1958, Guangxi College of Art was rebuilt in Nanning; in February 1960, it was renamed Guangxi University of the Arts.
