Personally, I definitely support it, because I am a child who went out from a small county. But considering the reality, I think this approach is unrealistic and the main feasibility is too small.

I often read the news these two days that the county proposed to build a university. The expert said, "In the era of knowledge economy, the biggest weakness of county economy is the lack of universities, and the wave of' county-run universities' is bound to come."

At first glance, it still excites us, because this practice is not only conducive to the growth of national GDP, but also promotes the development of county economy, and it can also make children in small counties no longer have to "leave their homes" for studying. But when I think about it, I think it's really unrealistic.

First of all, there are many universities in our country, and now many universities in prefecture-level cities have a shortage of students. Moreover, in order to improve this situation, some urban colleges and universities have also begun to lower the threshold for enrollment. The university life in the city is still so difficult. It is conceivable that the universities in the county are doomed to be no better, and the probability will only be worse.

Secondly, the employment of county college graduates will also become a problem. Some high-tech or innovative industrial enterprises will not settle in counties with underdeveloped economy and imperfect infrastructure. At the same time, few good companies are willing to go to a county to recruit employees every graduation season. In this case, the employment of college students in the county will become a big problem. Most of our college students may study to find a better job, which is contrary to our original intention.

And the recruitment of university teachers will also become a problem. We know that being a university teacher is very demanding. The basic requirement is a high degree of education, and personal ability cannot be poor. In the same direction, since the recruitment requirements are strict, it means that the treatment is definitely good, otherwise who will apply (but the county may not be able to improve the better treatment). If a school can't recruit excellent teachers and administrators, how can it develop? It will definitely be eliminated in the end!

Many times, our ideas are beautiful, but they may not be conducive to implementation. I always believe that "the economic base determines the superstructure". At present, the economic development of county towns is limited, and it is impossible for a city to concentrate all its resources in each county town and ignore its own development. After all, this is unscientific.

I am a child who goes out in a small county. I love my hometown very much, and I am eager for better development in my hometown. But if you really insist on building a university in that county, I think it is very unscientific. Because the city where the hometown county belongs is only a fourth-tier city, no university can give injections, and there are resources and abilities to help subordinate counties.

If I can really have this money, I suggest spending it on the construction of people's livelihood and the development of agriculture and rural areas in my hometown. When the economy of my hometown develops well and the infrastructure is perfect, my hometown will have better development opportunities and a better tomorrow. If the county economy is good, maybe universities will settle down automatically, instead of trying to develop a county economy with university construction.
