Scenario Mind Map 9 - Traveler without Borders in Bali

There is a saying that goes well: "One of the body and the soul must be on the road." And I think that the most appropriate way to achieve this dual journey is - a trip.

After thinking about it, I decided to retrace my trip to Bali in mid-May 2011.

From July 2010 to June 2011, by chance, I was fortunate enough to work as a Chinese teacher in a century-old overseas Chinese school in Java, Indonesia, the country of Thousand Islands. In mid-May 2011, I forgot to take a holiday (Indonesian schools really have holidays all the time), and it was very sudden. There were even half-day and one-day holidays. Together with a young female colleague, I flew to Bali for a five-day and six-night trip (5.13–5.18).

Colleagues arranged the itinerary. I was old and didn’t want to put in the effort, so I just followed her like a child. Occasionally, I asked her stupidly: "Xiao Li, when can we "Eating?"

Time has been dragging on for a long time. It has been five or six years now, and I have almost forgotten all the itineraries. I can only recall some fragments sporadically. Fortunately, I can still find some photos from that year and a PPT electronic photo album I made after returning from the trip. So I pulled it out today to look at it and retrieve my scattered memories.

Maybe, I really should have written the travel diary in time. At that time, another colleague did exactly this. After he came back, he immediately sorted out all the photos and wrote a travel note of more than 10,000 words according to the schedule. Along with the pictures, it had to be dozens of pages and printed it into a booklet. . At that time in the office, she even asked me some office operation methods.

Okay, let’s get down to business and I started drawing the map. While drawing, I searched on Baidu, trying to identify the names of the places I had visited one by one.

I named this mind map "Memory Edition of Bali Travel Notes", which is mainly divided into six parts: overview of Bali, accommodation, food, attractions, SPA, and diving. The food part is actually also conducted in scenic spots, but it focuses more on eating, so only two items are included in the scenic spots part.

After such a classification and listing, I found that there were really many places I went to in those few days, but because we rented a car in advance, the indigenous driver (sorry, I forgot your name, sir) said Speaking Balinese English, he drove us back and forth.

Looking at the world map, Bali is located 8 degrees south of the equator. You can imagine the heat, but it is not like this all day long, because it is right on the shores of the Indian Ocean, with scorching sun and heavy rain taking turns. The weather forecast is basically invalid. Bali is famous for its beautiful seaside natural scenery and traditional customs. Many art works from the 15th century are still intact. In addition, 80% of the people there believe in Hinduism. There are ancestral temples and statues everywhere. It is known as Bali. As the "Island of the Gods".

I particularly recommend a Nanyang folk song, which was adapted from an Indonesian folk song. The title of the song is "Bali", and the first few lines are as follows: "Have you heard that there is an island of Bali, right in Indonesia. The scenery on that island is as beautiful as a picture, and everyone will fall deeply in love with it..." Listening to these few words, you can appreciate the dreamy beauty. No wonder it is also called the "Dream Paradise". You can see that so many celebrities from our country go to Bali to hold weddings and honeymoons.

At that time, the two of us stayed in a star hotel. I forgot a few stars, but even the farmhouse hotel in Bali was very beautiful and elegant. There are Buddhist niches everywhere, and the corridors are inlaid with strange statues of gods, with small fountains and small beams of lights. There are one or two square or round swimming pools dug in the courtyard, and tenants who get up early can use swimming as a morning exercise. But we didn’t go there because we were busy sightseeing and tasting delicious food every day, and we didn’t even get enough sleep. Generally speaking, Chinese people are used to taking a shower before going to bed at night, but when we come back every day, we are exhausted, and it is difficult to dry our long hair when it gets wet, so we would rather get up early and wash it. One day, I originally planned to go to a famous scenic spot to watch the sunrise, but I ended up being too sleepy and got up too late to catch up. One thing I have to complain about is that there are no toiletries provided here, so you have to bring your own towels, slippers, shampoo, toothbrush and so on. Of course, in such a beautiful place, there is nothing wrong in promoting environmental protection.

I get very excited when it comes to food, so I categorized many attractions into food.

1. The sunset barbecue at Jimbaran Beach is particularly famous. Imagine that the sun sets and the buildings are dyed golden and colorful by the red-burned clouds. The beach below the dining table is golden and dozens of meters away. The blue-green Indian Ocean is also surging with flame-like brilliance, the bonfire is lit, the barbecue is squeaking, and the friendly Chinese singer plays the guitar and sings Teresa Teng's songs for you at the dining table. It is really intoxicating. Are you okay with not giving me a tip?

2. Have you ever experienced eating a buffet while watching a volcano? Just hit Mani Volcano in Beijing! At the highest point of the winding mountain road, a cafeteria rises in the sky. You sit in front of a plate of delicious food, sit by the window, watch the mist-shrouded volcano, and take a sip of coffee and wine (I actually like juice). I feel like time can stop. . It's windy on the top of the mountain, so you have to wear a thick coat, otherwise you'll catch a cold soon.

The cost of the buffet is about 70 yuan/person.

3. I have never eaten Xiandao bird's nest, but I have bought it. It cost me 2,000 yuan, and I almost spent all the currencies in my wallet, such as Indonesian rupiah, RMB, and US dollars. , only two small pieces. The clerk in the white shirt is of Chinese descent, so there is basically no barrier to conversation. I remember I bought blood-threaded bird's nest? It was that kind of red bird's nest that I gave to my father as a favor after I brought it home. As a result, the old man kept it for more than a year, and it got moldy and wasted.

4. Strawberry Garden. There were basically no strawberries, and the weather was still very cold. I ordered some snacks at the restaurant in Strawberry Garden. The seats were really unique. They were shacks on high places. Visitors climbed up and sat cross-legged on the seats. The waiters stood on the seats. The arms below stretched out and handed things up on a tray.

5. I drank authentic coconut juice twice, and it was cut open on the spot.

Once when we were passing by on the road, the driver suggested that we get out of the car and buy two. Another time, we followed the driver back to his home. Because he and his mother live in the northern and southern peninsulas respectively, he was able to visit his mother while we were traveling here. He picked it directly from the row of coconut trees in his yard and opened it for me to drink. His single, dark-skinned nephew kept looking at us silly and amused. We also let them drink, but the driver said that the family no longer liked drinking.

The houses in Bali should not be too beautiful. Although they are farmhouses, they are a bit like a small hotel. Especially in the courtyard, there is a small area dedicated to gods and ancestors. It is like a small Ancestral hall.

I went to the Sacred Monkey Forest Park, bought a pack of peanuts and went to Monkey Mountain to experience the beauty of nature. The monkey took off my glasses, messed up my hair, and soiled my clothes underfoot. The key is that you never know when a monkey will jump up on you from an unknown direction. Some tourists even had several hanging on them.

What made me depressed was that when I was visiting the park, there was an old native who gestured "photo". I thought he wanted to take a photo with me, but after taking the photo, he reached out to me and said, "money, money." ". Hey, it’s not like your sisters are chasing you for photos, do you really think of yourself as an attraction? ! I pretended not to understand, said "thank you" and ran away.

I originally planned to go to the most famous coast, but the driver said no. I will take you to another place with few people, very clean and beautiful. Sure enough! At that time, the car turned out of the winding mountain road, and everyone was shocked when they saw it!

So pure, green mountains and clear water, how can it be used to describe it? The fine sand on the beach is like mercury shining, and rows of blue waves are rolling in white foam, roaring from the sky, covering your legs, and splashing wet the bright batik dress you bought specially. Such a beautiful scenery, the sea and the sky are the same color, forgetting both things and myself, it is really beyond words. No wonder we see a Western blonde lying naked on the beach enjoying a nude bath in the sun.

Okay, I forgot about her and me, but I am Chinese and I still can't accept this.

What delights me the most is the small puddles formed on the rocks on the beach, forming a small magical world of their own. Shrimps and fish the size of fingernails were swimming around. They were all brought in from the sea by the waves, right? I even found that under several small conch shells, there were small crabs walking carrying the small house on their backs. I was stunned and hurriedly grabbed them with a mineral water bottle, holding them in my hand and taking them back to the hotel. But my companion said: "Teacher C, are you planning to take them on the plane? This is impossible."

In the end, I had to bear the pain and left them in the hotel, not knowing what would happen in the end. What happened to these little sea creatures.

The driver strongly recommended that we go to a certain SPA, and he said it again and again, emphasizing: "It's really good SPA." My companion looked at me helplessly several times, and had no choice but to agree (the two of us she You are the leader and I am the follower, it doesn’t matter). Then she secretly told me in Chinese that it must be a related account, and he would get a commission.

Yes, yes.

But that SPA is really good. As soon as I entered the door, I was led to change my clothes by two local beauties. Or, isn't that called clothes? It's just a thin covering of shame. Each person pinned a fragrant plumeria from the Island Flower to their ears, and then started massaging it with essential oil. The force was so strong that it made both of us grin. My companion kept screaming strangely, hahahaha.

Before leaving, we left a tip worth about 20 yuan on the massage table.

Isn’t deep-sea diving a mysterious and alluring activity? This is also our itinerary. I searched on Baidu and found that we should be going to Tulamben, which is the most famous diving resort in Bali.

The diving depth is 3-4 meters, which is the ultimate depth experienced by non-professionals. The embarrassing thing is that you need to take off your clothes to a vacuum state, and then "pack" your whole body into a thick diving suit. Underwear is not allowed, so no matter how proud your bust is, it looks like an airport.

When we got to the boat, my partner went into the water first to experience it. Then it was my turn, but I suddenly felt inexplicably flustered and short of breath, my lips were dry, and I almost turned around and fled out of fear. But the boat was already far away from the shore.

The crew member quickly poured me a glass of warm water, and I drank it slowly and felt better.

After I put on my respirator and flippers, I carefully went into the water. My friend swam over and held my hand. My panic suddenly settled down. The diver asked me: "Miss, are you ready?" He nodded, and was slowly but surely brought under the water. As the tube around our mouths breathed in and out, strings of bubbles popped up. The divers pulled the two of us one by one from the left to the right, and swam deeper and farther.

One meter, two meters, three meters... Wow, I saw blue-green water all around me, the bosom of the Indian Ocean embracing me, a large coral reef in front of me, groups of small fish, colorful Beautiful, coming and going freely around you and in front of you. I opened my eyes wide and almost forgot myself. It was so strange, what a magnificent underwater world!

The diver pushed the two of us to the reef. We grabbed the reef with one hand and tried to touch the small fish with the other hand. But how is it possible? In the water, the pressure is so high that all movements are flown The water waves slowed down and turned into slow motion like in the movie. Before your arm reaches the middle of the stroke, the fish has already flicked its tail and swam away calmly. As for your body, although one arm is hanging on the reef, the strong current makes you teetering on the rocks and you may be washed away at any time. However, people really want to take a plastic bag and carry away this large group of colorful fish.

About an hour later, we went ashore. Each person spent about 350 yuan. The diver asked us to wait while he went to get us some diving photos captured in the water. But my companion pulled me up and said, "Let's go quickly. You'll have to pay extra for that expensive one, and it's useless!"

So we ran away. However, to this day, I am still confused: Do I really need to pay extra for those photos?

It took almost an entire afternoon to sort out this mind map, and through Baidu and writing, I regained a clear memory.

Draw a mind map of a travel strategy or travel diary. Generally these are places you have personally traveled to. Although the contents of the guide and the travel notes may overlap, the guide focuses more on summarizing and informing experiences, while the travel notes generally describe personal experiences and experiences.

When I was in high school, I was particularly obsessed with a song sung by a campus singer in my school - "I Want to Go to Guilin", so I searched and compared it and posted this Guilin guide with pictures and texts here.
