Chen Hanmin’s personal detailed design experience

In 1959, he participated in the work of the general headquarters of the National Day Mass Parade for the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and served as art designer.

In 1995, he designed the publicity logo for the United Nations’ Fourth World Conference on Women and the commemorative gold coins of the People’s Bank of China.

In 1996, he designed a promotional logo for Beijing’s eight-digit telephone number increase. Served as a judge of the Emblem and Mascot Jury of the Eighth National Games, and director of the National Electric Power Company Logo Design Jury.

In 1997, the special logo for Hong Kong’s return to Hong Kong was designed in 1997. He serves as the deputy director of the emblem and mascot judging panel of the 99’ Kunming World Horticultural Expo in China, the deputy director of the emblem judging panel of the China Consumers Association, and a member of the judging panel of the China Tourism Year Beijing Tourism Souvenir Design Competition.

In 1998, he was named the National Outstanding Packaging Worker.

In 2002, he served as a judge for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games logo. He serves as the deputy director of the logo design jury for the Xinhua Bookstore chain store and the chief judge of the China Star "Golden Finger Award" packaging and logo design competition jury.

In 2003, he was rated as an advanced teacher and outstanding Communist Party member at Tsinghua University. He serves as a judge of the Chinese Football Association Super League logo and mascot judging panel, the chief judge of the "Oriental Star" packaging and printing design competition jury, and a judge of the emblem design jury of the 10th National Games of the People's Republic of China. Served as the director of the judging panel for the "Love Life, Believe in Science" anti-SARS theme poster, and directed the publication of the poster collection "Eternal Smile".

He has served as the director of the Design Committee of the China Packaging Technology Association since the 1990s. During this period, he participated in guiding and editing the "China Design Yearbook", presided over various awards activities, and held academic lectures across the country.

In 2003, he was awarded the "Outstanding Achievement Award for China's Packaging Industry" and the "Lifetime Achievement Award for China's Graphic Design Industry" by the China Packaging Association and the Design Committee of the China Packaging Association respectively. Served as the director of the Graphic Design Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association. Participated in the selection of the 10th Art Exhibition and Art Design Exhibition of the National Artists Association.

In 2005, he won the "Generation Design" award from the Taiwan Visual Design Summit.

In 2006, he participated in the selection of Olympic torch, medals, sports icons, public information graphics symbols, etc. organized by the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Organizing Committee, and served as the director of the 6th City Games and the 8th China Art Festival. Leader and chairman of the logo and mascot review team.

In 2007, he served as a jury member for the official posters of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Design the Chinese Arts and Crafts Master logo. Served as the evaluation director of the "Packaging Star" organized by the "World Star" Recommendation Committee and the evaluation director of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games National Badge Design Grand Prix.

In 2008, three posters were designed for the 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake.

In 2009, an exhibition of Chen Hanmin’s art and design works celebrating his 50th anniversary as a teacher was held at the Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, and "Visual Notes 50 - Collection of Chen Hanmin’s Art and Design Works" was published
