Jingyuetan Reservoir Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Jingyuetan in Changchun, Jilin Province, known as the green pearl, is located in the southeast of Changchun City, 12 kilometers away from downtown Changchun, and is known as the sister pond of Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan. It covers an area of 2 square kilometers, with a water surface of 4.3 square kilometers, a scenic plantation of 8 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of 58.6%. It is known as "the largest artificial forest in Asia".

Jingyuetan, named for its crescent-shaped dam and beautiful scenery, is an eco-tourism scenic spot with mountains, forests and water as the main body, featuring forest landscape and ice and snow tourism, accompanied by the natural scenery of Tanshui mountains, and integrating Kanto customs and human history. The green hills and pools in the tourist area set each other off into splendor, forming a beautiful scenery of spring outing, summer vacation, autumn foliage viewing and winter snow playing.

Distribution of scenic spots:

Jingyuetan has different scenery all year round, which makes people dazzled. It is an excellent place for hiking in spring, summer vacation, enjoying red leaves in autumn, skating and skiing in winter. The scenic spot is divided into four scenic spots: Tanbei Mountain, Tannan Linhai, Yuetan Shuiguang and Tandong Village. The waterscape is dominant, set off by mountain villages, and the vegetation is rich. There are 82 species of forests, mountain flowers, medicinal plants and vertebrates, and more than 6 species of birds.
