The route of this project starts from the intersection of provincial highway 60 1 and planned national highway 235 (at present, the original provincial highway 248 passes through provincial highway 60 1), and is rebuilt by county road 306 to the west, ending at the entrance of Tieshan Temple scenic spot, with a total length of about 7.964 kilometers. The whole line is implemented according to the standard of two-way two-lane secondary highway, with the design speed of 80km/h and the existing width of subgrade of 21m. The whole line adopts asphalt concrete pavement. The total estimated budget of the project is 58.79 million yuan. The project is divided into two sections, which were won by Jiangsu Xin Ming Traffic Engineering Co., Ltd. and Xuyi Tongda Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. The construction period is 12 months, and it is expected to be completed and opened to traffic before the end of May 2020. After the completion of the project, the service level of trunk highways in southern Xuyi will be improved, which will lay a solid foundation for ensuring the completion of provincial highway 60 1 and is of great significance for promoting the establishment of a global tourism demonstration county and the surrounding economic and social development.
