Brief introduction of Macao Tourism College
The original site of Macau Tourism College is a19th century fortress, and it is also the location of the non-Portuguese military camp in Macau.

In 2003, at the invitation of UNESCO and the International Cultural Heritage Management Center, Macau Tourism Institute became a founding member of the Asian Cultural Heritage Management Association, aiming at promoting and strengthening the professional training of cultural heritage management in this region. In order to develop tourism sustainably, it is necessary to cultivate a new generation of responsible and well-informed tourists. Therefore, the Asian Cultural Heritage Management Association launched the World Cultural Heritage Tour Guide Training and Certification Project in 2005. The implementation of this rigorous and practical' internationally recognized training and certification course' is the result of active cooperation among members of the Asian Cultural Heritage Management Society, the Asia-Pacific Tourism Education and Training College Network of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and the tourism departments of various countries. The certification course is centered on the Tourism College and supported by technical consultants provided by UNESCO.
In 2004, the College was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Tourism and Leisure Education (ATLAS), which promoted the development of international tourism education and leisure education in Macao, teacher-student exchanges, academic research and upgrading the professionalism of courses.
In 2008, the ceremony of awarding medals, medals and certificates in People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Macao Special Administrative Region was held on June 65438+10/October 65438+June 2009.
