Longyan City is an ancient military training ground. Together with Hechuan Diaoyu City, it was an anti-Mongolian friendly city in the late Southern Song Dynasty. It strangles the traffic throats of Guizhou and Sichuan, and the terrain is extremely dangerous. It has always been a battlefield for military strategists. There are complete walls surrounding the curved rock. There is Changpu Bay above the barracks. The county chronicle records that "there is a pond above it, three feet long, deep, and not dry all year round. It may be a place where veterans store water." There is a very precious stone tablet carved on the cliff of Chengmen, which has precious historical and cultural value. 4.2 meters long, 3.5 meters high, with 258 characters. It is in double-hook regular script, simple and elegant, and was engraved in the first year of the Qing Dynasty in the Southern Song Dynasty. At the intersection of Jinfo Mountain and Baiji Mountain, the Baizhi River Grand Canyon was formed due to years of water flow and wind erosion. The solitary peak at the mouth of the valley standing in the sky is Candlestick Peak. Hundreds of meters high, it looks like a huge candlestick from the front, with an equally huge "candle" stuck on it. When the flowers on the top of the mountain bloom, a red flame is lit at the top of the candle. From the bottom of the peak to the back of Candlestick Peak, looking back, it looks like a camel half lying down drinking water.
The Yanyun Cave in Jinfo Mountain is an excellent place to appreciate stalactites and is known as the Stalactite Museum. Cloud Cave was formed in the Triassic Period of the Mesozoic Era, about 180 million years ago. Every winter and spring, white mist rushes straight into the entrance of the cave, and smoke clouds linger halfway up the mountain, hence the name Yanyun Cave. The stalactites in the cave are well developed and well preserved.
