I plan to backpack Lhasa in early July this year. I don’t know how to plan a trip from Lhasa to Linzhi, Namtso, Nagqu, Shannan and other places. I hope experienced travel friends can help! ! !

I wanted to call you yesterday, but I was a little busy, so I will call you together today. Hope it's of little help to you.

When you arrive on the first night, you take a short rest. Because your team is so large, there is no guarantee that any of you will suffer from altitude sickness, which will delay the rest of your trip.

The theme of the second day is still rest. You can go shopping in Lhasa, such as Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, etc. Sera Monastery and There is a Buddhist scripture debate at Drepung Monastery around 3pm, so don’t go on weekends. Tickets for the Potala Palace must be booked one day in advance. You can book it with a travel agency, or you can queue up to book it yourself. However, I would like to remind you that because of the summer vacation, many people start queuing up to buy tickets from four or five o'clock in the morning. Remember, if you book by yourself, you will have to stay in Lhasa on the third day, because you can only book one day in advance and bring your ID card.

Go wherever you want, and more than twenty days are indeed enough time to have fun.

First of all, as mentioned before, you will need to rest for 1-3 days after arriving. There are many of you, and you may have high fever and affect your itinerary. You can decide how many days to rest. Then, it is recommended to go to Linzhi, because Linzhi has a low altitude and is suitable for comrades who have just entered Tibet. The specific route and scenic spots along the way are as follows:

D1 Lhasa - Mainstay - Ngapei Village - Gading Shenshan Waterfall - Bayi (Su Bayi)

D2 Bayi - Yarlung Zangbo River Scenic Area ( Niyang River Scenic Area) - Bayi (Su Bayi)

D3 Bayi - Giant Berlin - Lulang Forest Sea - Bomi (Su Bomi)

D4 Bomi— Midui Glacier—Ranwu (Su Ranwu)

D5 Ranwu—Bomi—Bayi (Su Bayi)

D6 Bayi—Basongcuo—Lhasa (Su Lhasa) )

The above is the itinerary to Linzhi Ranwu, which lasts for 6 days. In fact, if you compress the time, you can also complete Linzhi Ranwu in 3-4 days. Ranwu Lake at night It's still a bit cold, and many people don't live there and will rush back to Bomi.

The next route is towards Mount Everest in Shigatse:

D1 Lhasa - Yamdrok Yumco - Khayala Century Glacier - Gyantse Baiju Temple - Shigatse (about 8 hours, Asphalt road) (Stay in Shigatse)

D2 Shigatse - Sakya Monastery - Lazi - Tingri (Xiegel) - Everest Rongbuk Monastery (stay in Mt. Everest)

D3 Zhu Feng Rongbuk Monastery - Base Camp - Tingri - Lazi - Shigatse (stay in Shigatse)

D4 Shigatse - Tashilhunpo Monastery - Lhasa (stay in Lhasa)

The next recommendation is Namtso Direction, you mentioned Nagqu above. In fact, there are not many scenic spots in Nagqu, and the altitude is too high, so it is not recommended to go there.

D1 Lhasa-Namtso-Northern Tibet Grassland-Yangbajing-Lhasa (stay in Lhasa)

The above-mentioned tourist route in the direction of Namtso can also be divided into two days. , but you may want to stay in Namtso at night. You can watch the sunset and sunrise (when the weather is good), which is very beautiful. It’s just that the accommodation conditions in Namtso are not good, and there are many dogs barking at night.

I recommend another super long line. It's in the direction of Ali. The best tourist season in Ali is from the end of April to the end of September, with the average temperature being around 10 degrees Celsius.

Route 1:

Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Shigatse, Tibet - Red River Valley: Gyantse - Mount Kailash (Kalashenboqe) - Holy Lake (Manasarovar Lake) - Guge Dynasty - Zhada Forest - Top of the World: Mount Everest - Lhasa (Full Journey: 3822)

(If you want to go to Ngari, you can go in the same direction as Namtso.)

Route 2:

Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse - Mount Everest - Holy Lake: Manasarovar - Holy Mountain: Kailash - Zhada Forest - Guge Site - Shiquan River - Pangong Cuohu - Ritu - Gaize - Tashicuo - Nyima - Bangor - Serincuo - Namtso - Yangpajing - Lhasa (full journey: 4136)

(Line 2 of the Ngari Long Line It can be combined with the route in the direction of Mount Everest Namtso in Shigatse)

The time to go to Ali will be longer. If you go south to north (route 2), it will take about 11 days. If you go south to south (route 2). Route 1), about 9 days.

This is the approximate route and time taken. There are 8 of you, you can choose to charter a car, or go to Lhasa and follow a tour group. Personally, it is more fun to charter a car by yourself. The price will be more expensive than that of a tour group with a travel agency. It depends on the mileage of the car type and the number of people. Consult your local area for specific prices. It fluctuates a lot now, and I don’t know the price anymore.

Another reminder is that after each trip to a line, you can rest for a day before going to the next line.

I also want to remind you that train tickets are tight in July. Please negotiate the date of purchasing train tickets when you first arrive in Lhasa, otherwise it will be difficult to get a ticket. (You may not be able to buy it after consultation. Tickets were sold five days in advance in July and August last year, and everyone queued up all night to buy tickets to no avail. Here is a friendly reminder) You can also find a travel agency to buy on your behalf, but you will have to pay a purchasing fee. The specific amount will be determined by Consult yourself.

In addition to writing directions, routes and times, those routes are actually destinations (attractions). You can use Baidu to know the specific information of the attractions you want to see, so I won’t tell you one by one here. . If you rent a car, the driver will take you to see it without asking.

If you still don’t understand, you can add questions below, and I will answer them one by one after seeing them.
