Inter-provincial travel and outing are the first choices for China people, with 36.7% choosing inter-provincial travel and 25.9% choosing suburban travel, up 5.0 and 7.2 percentage points respectively over the same period last year.

Research shows that tourists pay more attention to the quality and experience of tourism during the long vacation. The proportion of self-driving trips is the highest (49.8%), followed by plane trips (22.2%) and train trips (14.6%). Free travel, go on road trip, Zhou Bianyou, local fun and rural leisure have become the norm of holiday tourism, and food has become one of the important factors for tourists to choose their destinations.
