Is there a married person in Lijiang, Yunnan?

Walking marriage is a marriage mode of Mosuo people. Mosuo people are matriarchal society, and men and women seldom get along alone during the day. If a man falls in love with a woman, he will go to the woman's "greenhouse" in the middle of the night after making an appointment with her during the day, but he can't enter the greenhouse at the front door. Instead, climb the window and hang a hat outside the door to show the appointment and ask others not to disturb him.

Then leave before dawn. Nowadays, this traditional marriage custom has been given a new meaning: although married, there is no place to live, and we go back to our hometown on weekdays and get together on holidays.

After the marriage registration, the floating population family belongs to the legal couple. Different from ordinary couples, floating population families have no intimate conditions and no romance between men and women. They either get together or leave, not only live like this, but also may be relatively independent economically, so they are also called "semi-sugar couples".
