Luoyang Mangshan Qiaozhuang is an ancient village rich in humanistic characteristics. Here, you can feel the wonderful scenery at the end of harmony between heaven and earth. In the early morning, it was raining and foggy, and the rugged Xiaolangdi Line was heading south.

Enter the south gate of the Xiaolangdi Water Conservancy Dam Scenic Area, turn right for 200 meters, and drive two kilometers to Qiaozhuang Village.

In the early Ming Dynasty, Qiao moved from Shanxi to the south bank of the Yellow River in Beimang, where the villagers practiced medicine for generations. Qiao people built kilns close to the mountains, with tall gates and wide courtyards. The "doctor's nest" was once famous on both sides of the Yellow River.

Now, Xiaolangdi Reservoir has emerged from Gaoxiaping Lake. The village of Qiaozhuang is very busy, but as the years go by, it is also getting older quietly.

They have witnessed the prosperity of Qiaozhuang Village’s farming civilization, and now they are still the silent guardians of Qiaozhuang people’s hometown dream.

Walking on the clean flower path, the ancient houses along the way are covered with green grass.

The toona blossoms cover the eaves; the sangwaro decorates the old window lattice with wooden lattice.

There are also courtyard doors that are open, but with broken bricks and tiles stuck on them. The courtyard is full of green and lonely, looking forward to people's return.

The doors, eaves, and door piers are all carved with exquisite flowers and strange beasts. After years of polishing, it's still stunning.

The shade of the fig tree

There is also a yard in front. Old Qiaodu lives alone, saying that his children and grandchildren are all in Shanxi, and he is the only one guarding the old house.

There is an old fig tree in the yard, and its broad leaves cover the entire courtyard. The sweetness of figs should be an everlasting memory on the tongues of our children and grandchildren, no matter how far they travel.

A guest came, and the goat in the wing looked at me curiously through the red pane. When I went in to say hello, the three sheep spoke to me "bleating", telling me about the owner's charity.

There are two stone tablets embedded in the wall of the front hall, which were made during the Daoguang period and the Republic of China respectively. It records the history of the Qiao family. There are two plaques on the top of the monument, one is "Jia Sheng is Pi Zhen" and the other is "Filial Piety and Compassion Festival".

The courtyard of the ancestral hall is spacious and clean, with wing rooms on both sides and a cave directly opposite. Green trees shade the cave.

After entering the kiln, the "Godhead of Qiao's ancestor" is enshrined in the middle. On both sides are painted flying gods and two dragons playing with beads. Colorful and lively.

The "Twenty-four Filial Piety Pictures" are painted on the cave wall. Filial piety is the first of all things, a metaphor for teaching people to be filial.

Mengzhou cyclists encountered similar good years and rode a hundred miles to explore this ancient village, admiring their perseverance. A chubby chicken was strolling leisurely in the yard, and a kitten looked at its owner flatteringly and meowed: "How about a bowl of noodles, with garlic instead of noodles?"

This ancient village never reached the top of the mountain.

The old man said that there is an earthen village on the top of the back slope. When the soldiers and bandits met, the young and old in the village hid in the village and closed the village gate.

The umbrella crawled along the soil slope, where wild jujubes and Chinese prickly ash grew, and the slope was covered with thorns. When we reached the top of the slope, the rain became heavier and heavier. Our clothes and pants were soaked through, and it was muddy, so we had to turn back halfway.
