How about a trip to Mongolia?

I have been there several times and have some experience.

1: Mongolia is better than you think, and of course it is similar to a small city in the northeast. August is the best tourist season, and the weather is cool, so you need to bring long-sleeved clothes.

2. You can stay well if you have money. Generally, hotel conditions are worse than those in China, but the best ones are similar to those in China. Anything above 3 stars is quite good. Of course, the price is quite expensive, and many of them are settled in US dollars.

3. Playing in Mongolia means going to the grassland, living in yurts, riding horses and hunting. In Mongolia, you can eat authentic mutton. I have never eaten such delicious mutton.

There are yurts for tourism on the grassland near the city. You can rent one. There are horses nearby.

There is nothing to buy as a souvenir. There seems to be a place that sells cashmere sweaters. The travel society will take you there. Things are better than those in China, and the price is not too expensive.

Other things are basically imported from neighboring countries, so don't buy them. There are also some small handicrafts that can be bought as gifts.

The restaurant is very expensive, and the price of vegetables is similar to that of mutton and beef. It is recommended to eat more meat and less vegetables.

6. Mongolia is hostile to China, so don't walk outside alone and don't go out at night.

7: There are some taboos. Ask the guide then. The tour guide will explain it to you clearly.

Also, it's best to talk to a travel agency, because the Mongolian language is unreasonable and the educational level is relatively low, and many people don't understand English and Chinese.

Just bring US dollars and RMB. Banks in Mongolia can exchange local currency.
