Chengxi district scenic spot

The scenic spots in the west of the city include the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wildlife Park, Xining People's Park, Qinghai Provincial Museum, Xining Children's Park and Hutai Site.

1, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wildlife Park: It is the only large-scale comprehensive wildlife park with the highest altitude in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, a national 4A-level scenic spot and a national popular science education base integrating wildlife viewing, protection, scientific research, breeding and popular science education.

2. Xining People's Park: Located on the south bank of the intersection of Huang Shuihe and Beichuan River in the west of the city. The park was founded in 1959 and has been expanded several times. Now it covers an area of more than 40 hectares. The main amusement facilities include flower area, artificial lake, children's amusement area, animal viewing area and art exhibition hall.

3. Qinghai Provincial Museum: Located at No.58 Xiguan Street, Chengxi District, Xining City. It is a cultural tourist attraction of Wenbo Academy. The scenic spot covers an area of 22,800 square meters, with 9 main exhibition halls and 9 side exhibition halls, with an exhibition area of 9 146 square meters. The core landscapes are: prehistoric civilization exhibition in Qinghai province, Qinghai national cultural relics exhibition and Tibetan Buddhism art exhibition, and won the nomination award of the fifth (200 1 ~ 2002) "Top Ten National Fine Exhibitions".

4. Xining Children's Park: This is a paradise for children and a happy world. The children's park is greeted by a central square, gorgeous flowers, colorful balloons, innocent smiling faces, happy laughter and pigeons who get along well with people. This is a landscape of the children's park.

5. Hutai Site: Located in the western suburbs of Xining, it is the site of Nanliang (a small country) in the 4th century. This tall earthen platform was built by Tan Sitong, the third king of Nanliang Dynasty in 402 AD. It was named "Tiger Platform" after his prince "Tiger".
