How to arrange the trip to Beijing on May Day?
May 1, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, take the subway 10 line to Huang Zhuang, Haidian, and transfer to Line 4 to reach the Summer Palace. From the Summer Palace, you can take Line 4 to Peking University. In fact, my personal suggestion on campus trip is unnecessary. Why don't you go to the Summer Palace, take subway line 4 to Xizhimen and transfer to line 2 to Gulou? You can go to Houhai and Nanluoguxiang to experience the Beijing Cultural Street which combines classicality with fashion and modernity. Feel some old hutongs with a long history. Don't have fun Go out early on May 2, and take Metro Line 5 to the Temple of Heaven. The tour takes about 1 hour. Then take Line 5 to Chongwenmen and Line 2 to Qianmen. Visit Qianmen Pedestrian Street, Qianmen Gate Tower, Tiananmen Square, Tiananmen Gate Tower and Forbidden City. All the above are on the same line, all on foot. So you should arrange your time and strength reasonably. Personally, I estimate that it will take nearly 4 to 5 hours from the front door to the last visit to the Forbidden City. If you are physically strong enough, you can go to Jingshan from the north gate of the Forbidden City. Then you can go to Wangfujing at night to feel the night view there. On the morning of May 3rd, take Metro Line 5 to Chongwenmen, and then take Metro Line 2 to Qianmen, where there is the Beijing Tourism Distribution Center. You can go to Badaling and the Ming Tombs by bus. It takes a day's journey. Because Badaling doesn't have its own car in the suburbs of Beijing, it's inconvenient to take a tourist bus to Beijing Tourism Distribution Center. But remember not to listen to those who pull the strings. Be sure to go to this regular tourist distribution center. If you still have time on May 4th, you can take Line 5 to Datun East Road, and then walk to the Olympic Sports Park to see the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. The above is the arrangement I recommended to you. I hope you can make a reference. I wish you a happy holiday in Beijing.
