Function introduction of Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau

(3) Cultivate, improve and develop the tourism market in Hunan Province, study and formulate the measures for tourism in Hunan Province's Friendship Exhibition and guide its implementation; Guide the tourism work of cities and prefectures

(4) Organize the general survey and industry planning of the province's tourism resources, guide and coordinate the planning, development and construction of tourist areas, and be responsible for the quality rating of tourist areas (spots) in the province and the related work of centralized management of tourist resorts; Responsible for organizing and guiding the work of tourism statistics.

(5) organizing the implementation of facilities and service standards for various tourist areas (spots), resorts, tourist accommodation, travel agencies, tourist vehicles and special tourism projects determined by the government, and approving travel agencies engaged in domestic tourism business; To examine and approve travel agencies that have approved international tourism business; Organize and guide the fixed-point work of tourist facilities; Organize the implementation of star standards and star evaluation and review of tourist hotels; Guide and standardize the province's tourism safety and spiritual civilization construction.

(6) organizing and implementing policies and regulations on traveling abroad, traveling to Hongkong, Macao Special Administrative Region, Taiwan Province and border tourism; To supervise foreign and overseas tourism offices established in Hunan Province according to law; Guide the foreign exchange and cooperation of tourism in the whole province.

(7) supervise and inspect the order and service quality of the tourism market, accept tourists' complaints, organize and guide law enforcement inspections, handle cases of illegal tourism in conjunction with relevant departments, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of tourists.

(8) to guide tourism education and training, formulate and organize the implementation of the province's tourism talent training plan, and guide the relevant work of tourism professionals's vocational qualification and grade examination certification; To guide the relevant colleges and universities in the province to set up tourism education; Contact and guide the work of the Tourism Association.

(9) to guide the construction of the tourism industry in the province.
