Chongzhou Cherry Valley

Chongzhou Cherry Valley is a famous cherry picking area. There are cherry blossom trees everywhere in the mountains, fields, in front of and behind the house, inside and outside the courtyard, and farmhouses can be seen everywhere. Cherry Valley is about 8 kilometers away from Chongzhou City and about 2 hours' drive from Chengdu. And there are many places to play around, such as Jiezi Ancient Town, Baita Lake, Baiyan Temple, etc. Make sure you have a fulfilling day!

Transportation Guide

Self-driving: Chengdu-Chengdu-Wenqiong Expressway-Baitou Station (Exit)-Chongqing Road - Baita Lake Scenic Area - Mingdao Town - Gongyi Township - Baosi Road - Cherry Valley.

Self-driving: Take a direct bus from Chadianzi Station to Baita Lake, and then walk to Cherry Valley. You can also find a local car.

Pujiang Guangming Township

There are three main varieties of cherries in Pujiang Guangming Township, namely red cherries, white cherries and purple cherries, among which purple cherries are the sweetest and most delicious. There are four cherry picking areas in Guangming Township: Jinhua Scenic Area, Hanqiao Scenic Area, Guanmao Scenic Area and Shiyan Scenic Area. Friends who don’t want to be crowded can go to Guanmao Scenic Area and Shiyan Scenic Area along the S106 line. These two areas have many cherry blossom trees, concentrated purple cherries, and relatively few tourists.

Self-driving: along Chengxinpu Expressway-Putang Road-turn left into Chaoyang Avenue -2 kilometers, turn left at the entrance of the scenic spot for 1 kilometer. Chengdu-Chengdu-Chengya Expressway Pujiang Toll Station - Go straight along Chaoyang Avenue for 3km - turn left (sign about Maoshan Scenic Area at the intersection) and drive for 1km.

Self-driving: Take a bus from Xinnanmen to Pujiang, then take a taxi (about 15 yuan) or take a taxi to Shanling (about 4 yuan) and get off at Guangming County.

Jianyang Cherry Valley

Jianyang Cherry Valley is also one of Chengdu people’s favorite places to pick cherries. It was developed relatively early, with a variety of food, drink, entertainment, and many farmhouses, which is especially suitable for family leisure vacations.

The cherries in Gexian Mountain are not relatively wide, but there are fewer people. If you avoid the May Day crowds, this is a great place to pick. You can spend a day relaxing and enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms in Garden Valley and Nishigoen Garden.

Qingquan Town, Qingbaijiang River

The cherries in Qingquan Town are mainly concentrated in Wugui Village and Xingfu Village. There are hills and slopes, shallow hills and ravines, and fields filled with cherry blossom trees. You can eat as much as you want.
