Action and Thought (4) - Visiting Guanye Valley and Wanxiang Cave in person

Guanye Valley, known as the "Little Jiuzhaigou", has always been a place I have longed for, so it should be the first place to be included in this trip plan.

Saying goodbye to Hadapu Town, a red tourist destination, the group of several families drove to Guanyogou as planned. Entering Guan'egou Scenic Area, we saw a huge advertisement advertising the exquisite scenic spots, which immediately caught our attention.

Several scenic area service staff came over and told us that the Guanyegou service area is further away from the scenic area. There are various farmhouse folk accommodation areas where you can have your own meals and camp. This was exactly what we planned, and we started the car again and headed to our accommodation.

There are beautiful mountains and rivers everywhere along the way. Only from passers-by did I know that this area is called "Pearl Thirteen Lakes". What is "Thirteen Pearl Lakes"? The waters along the way are divided into thirteen small lakes based on the terrain. The lakes are sparkling like pearls, so they are called "Thirteen Pearl Lakes".

In a fleeting impression, I vaguely remember that Yinping Lake, Crescent Lake, Sandie Lake, Guan'egou Lake and other lakes are the most distinctive. The lakes are either disconnected or connected, or Deep or shallow, and the speed of the water flow may be tight or slow, the lake surface may be sparkling or flat as a mirror; the color may be green or blue, pure blue, or five colors, all due to the color of the mountains and trees and the strong sunlight. Formed by weak factors.

Thirteen lakes of different sizes and shapes are like a string of green pearls inlaid in the ditch. The lake water is clear and has different colors depending on the height of the lake bottom. The ancient scenery reflected in the lake The trees are like giant dragons lying at the bottom of the lake. The blue sky, white clouds and green mountains and ancient trees are reflected in the lake, making heaven and earth integrated without boundaries.

It was just time to finish dinner when we arrived at our destination. This time we had to do it ourselves for dinner and be "self-sufficient" in the farmhouse. Everyone started making noodles, picking vegetables, washing vegetables, chopping vegetables, and stewing vegetables, and worked together in a tacit understanding, just like a long-term cooperation of a family.

About two hours later, a delicious meal was placed on the table. Looking at this sumptuous dinner, everyone has a strong sense of accomplishment. It seems that this kind of driving and hands-on experience is the true meaning of independent travel.

Enjoy the homemade dinner, which is comfortable and refreshing. The taste of home can be found in a foreign land. This makes the fatigue after traveling disappear with delicious food.

Traveling is the satisfaction of self-interest!

01. Visit Guan'egou

After a night's rest, we had breakfast early in the morning and drove to the scenic spot to start our tour of Guan'egou.

The management here is very standardized, and all people entering and exiting can enter smoothly after several verifications. What makes us most happy is that the scenic spot now implements a half-ticket system for teachers holding teacher qualification certificates, students under 22 years old, and senior citizens over 60 years old. Our family is very lucky. Except for my husband, who has a full ticket, the rest of us have a half ticket. At that moment, I was suddenly moved by the social atmosphere of respecting teachers and valuing education, and I suddenly felt the pride of being a teacher.

After passing the ticket gate, we sang happily and walked among the scenic spots in Guanyogou.

Along the road paved with stone slabs or made of cement, winding up towards the mouth of the ditch, sometimes crossing bridges and gorges, sometimes walking on stacks and climbing stairs, and sometimes walking trails. In short, every time you go, you can stop to watch or take photos, which is a lot of fun.

The mountains in Guan'egou are majestic and varied in shape, with an altitude ranging from 1,760 meters to 4,150 meters. While walking, you will be surrounded by mountains, gurgling green water, ancient trees, and a variety of scenery. The mountains in the beautiful places are graceful and graceful; the cliffs in the majestic places are soaring into the sky, majestic and spectacular, and there are landscape paintings everywhere.

The mountains in Guan'egou are extremely dangerous. Between the lakes and snow-capped mountains, 9 steep and deep canyons are amazing. In various canyons that are hundreds of meters long, hundreds of meters high, and only ten meters wide, the river water is deafening, the wind blows in your face, the cliffs cover the sun with ancient pines, and the waterfalls cascade down. Tourists come here, and the timid ones are extremely frightened. It feels like being in a desperate situation. Such a miraculous natural wonder is rare in China. A poet happily wrote a poem: Range Rover is partial to the long sun and moon, and the water in Egou is cool in the hot summer.

The water in Guan'egou is also strange. Waves rolled in the ravine, and water flowed down the cliff. There are the silk-thin Jiudie Waterfall, the extremely dangerous Hukou Waterfall, and the Guan'e Waterfall that plunges thousands of miles. As soon as you stop to watch, you will be deeply intoxicated by the unrestrained and continuous soft poetry

The most distinctive tourist attractions have their own historical origins and richness, and Guan'egou is not to be missed.

Looking back on history, during the Wanli period of Emperor Shenzong of the Ming Dynasty, Guan'egou was called "Guan evil", and the people living in the ditch were Mafan people among the Ma Tusi. The word "Guan'e" comes from Qiang language and is translated into Chinese as "Canyon". Later, when the township government was established, the word "Guan'e" had a derogatory connotation, so "Guan'e" was changed to Guan Ge. It was promoted to a national 4A tourist attraction and forest park in March 2017.

Guanyegou is currently under development. I think after several years of development and improvement, there will definitely be many good sights and spots to enjoy. But what I like most is the original natural resources, which make Guanyegou more "down-to-earth". The ravines and folded mountains are the most natural and pure scenery of Guan'e Valley.

All this is the most "affordable" feedback to every natural person!

02. Visit Wanxiang Cave in person

Another famous attraction in Longnan is Wanxiang Cave, which is also a national AAAA tourist attraction, a provincial geological park in Gansu Province, and a provincial scenic spot. A scenic spot and a provincial cultural relic protection unit, it has the reputation of "the first cave in China", "the first cave in northern China", "underground cultural corridor" and "underground art palace".

Wanxiang Cave is located halfway up the mountain in Yangpang Village, Hanwang Town, Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, 10 kilometers away from the urban area.

After leaving Guan'egou, we drove for an hour to the mysterious "Wanxiang Cave". The cave has a history of 250 million to 300 million years. It is a large-scale and high artistic value discovered in northwest China. It is both majestic in the north and elegant in the south. The scenic spot is divided into three caves according to its image: the Moon Palace, the Heavenly Palace and the Dragon Palace.

Only when you walk into the cave can you truly feel the uncanny workmanship and wonders of nature.

Watching the various stalactites at close range, coupled with the beautiful lights, makes the Wanxiang Cave even more mysterious and makes us marvel. To use a fashionable saying, it is "simply blinding".

Wanxiang Cave is a karst cave, just like a place where gods live. It is said that Zhang Guolao and Zhang Sanfeng came to this cave to practice. Perhaps because of the peculiar appearance, people endow them with stories and humanities, such as Tieguai Li riding a donkey, Zhu Bajie carrying his wife, alchemy furnace, Optimus Prime, young woman breastfeeding, golden snake hanging upside down, etc., which give people endless reverie. .

I found out through Baidu: Wanxiang Cave is also known as Immortal Cave and Five Immortals Cave. It is said that five immortals once practiced here. Judging from the inscriptions on the tour inside the cave, Wanxiang Cave has attracted tourists from all dynasties more than 1,000 years ago. To this day, there are still more than 100 stone steles from the Northern Zhou, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties and more than 960 poems and inscriptions left in the cave. Among them, "Wanxiang Xiandong" by Jia Tingguan, a native of Wudu in the Qing Dynasty, is the most representative. The poem praises: "It is not the human world, but the all-encompassing sky. When does the Wolong rise? When does the jade pillar hang? Who dug the Hongmeng hole and left the smoke of the alchemy stove in the sky? The cave is deep and slippery with moss. Where can I meet the gods?"

Wanxiang Cave gives people unlimited space for imagination. Anyone who goes there will be impressed by the psychedelic scene here.

Sigh at the magic of nature and the hidden potential of my hometown!

It’s not that there is no beautiful scenery around us, but the lack of opportunities and eyes to discover beauty.

I love my hometown, and I love even more this land where we are all Chinese people!
