Help: How to play in Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden in Zhouzhuang Town, Shanghai for 2 days 1 night?

I have long heard that Jiangnan gardens are the best in the world and Suzhou gardens are the first in Jiangnan. I've always wanted to have a chance to visit Suzhou gardens, because I now live and work in Haiyan, Jiaxing, which is only100km away from Suzhou. It should be a good choice to visit Suzhou gardens, so I browsed the tourist attractions in Suzhou online, and finally chose three scenic spots: Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Forest and zhouzhuang town, and saw Suzhou Museum in Suzhou. My overall plan is as follows: visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Forest and Museum in Suzhou on April 6th, visit the Humble Administrator's Garden in the morning, visit the museum and Lion Forest in the afternoon, then go to Zhouzhuang, stay in Zhouzhuang at night and see the night view of Zhouzhuang, visit Zhouzhuang the next morning, arrive in Jiaxing from Zhouzhuang at noon 10, and then return to Haiyan to complete the two-day trip.

In fact, this self-help tour benefited from reading the travel guide about Suzhou on Youduoduo's website, then making a travel plan and booking the Xiaoqiao Family Hotel in Zhouzhuang online. After having a basic understanding of Suzhou, I finally decided to visit the most essential places: Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden and Zhouzhuang. Let me travel in chronological order one by one:

Get up at 6 o'clock in the morning on the 6th, pack your backpack in advance, get up and wash, then take a taxi to the bus station, get on the bus at 7 o'clock and go to Suzhou, and arrive in Suzhou city around 8 o'clock. I feel that there is still traffic jam in Suzhou. When we arrive at Suzhou North Bus Station, we should get off at 8: 30 and buy a map of Suzhou after leaving the station. There are many human tricycles outside the bus station. Because the distance from North Bus Station to Humble Administrator's Garden is very short (I didn't know it at first) and I have to cross Qimen Bridge. I didn't take a taxi, so I only found a human tricycles. What I want to say here is that the rickshaw pullers in Suzhou are not authentic. They walked all the way for about 20 minutes, and recommended me a one-day trip to 120 yuan, saying that I could go to three places. When I asked him about the place, he refused to tell me. At the intersection of Northwest Street and Renmin Road, he dragged me directly west to Taohuawu Street. I said I insisted on the humble administrator's garden. He told me that tickets for Humble Administrator's Garden are very expensive now, and many people want to go for 70 yuan. I didn't go with him. He also said some ugly words, which were very unfriendly and made me very angry. This is detrimental to the image of Suzhou. I also read about rickshaw pullers soliciting customers by force on the Internet, but I didn't fall for it. I didn't know until I got to Humble Administrator's Garden that there were not many people who actually got tickets to 50 yuan (off-season). Later, it turned out that my decision was correct, so reading the raiders was very helpful for self-help travel. At this point, I really think that Suzhou's tourism management is one grade behind Hangzhou. In 2004, the rickshaw was cancelled in Hangzhou, and the tourism environment was still relatively good.

Today, the weather is particularly good. First, I took a photo of Xibei Street in front of Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden. The sky is bluer against clean white walls and blue tiles.

to be continued ......

Arrive at the entrance of Humble Administrator's Garden around nine o'clock. There are many local wild guides at the entrance, and some sell cheap tickets. They still stick to their plans, ignore them and buy tickets to enter the scenic spot. Below is the gate of Humble Administrator's Garden, which was taken when we left.

It is necessary to briefly introduce the Humble Administrator's Garden: Humble Administrator's Garden and Lingering Garden, Beijing Summer Palace and chengde mountain resort are also called the four famous gardens in China. They are the representatives of Jiangnan gardens, the largest classical gardens in Suzhou and the mother of private gardens in China. Going to Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden is a must-see attraction. Humble Administrator's Garden was originally the residence of Lu Guimeng, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, and Dahong Temple in the Yuan Dynasty. In the fourth year of Ming Dynasty (1509), Wang Hongzhi and Jiajing, the imperial literati in Ming Dynasty, retired to Suzhou and bought them, and hired famous painters and representatives of Wu Pai to participate in the design blueprint. According to the tour guide, Wen Zhiming drew more than 500 sketches at that time, which took 16 years to build, borrowing the words of Pan Yue, a scholar in the Western Jin Dynasty. For example, I regard watering flowers and growing vegetables as my "political" thing. Shortly after the garden was built, Wang died, and his son Xu lost the whole garden to him in a night of gambling. For more than 500 years, the Humble Administrator's Garden changed hands repeatedly, and it was not completely integrated until the 1950s, when the original name of Humble Administrator's Garden was restored. Humble Administrator's Garden covers an area of 78 mu (52,000 square meters) and is divided into four parts: East, Middle, West and Residential. Folk houses are typical Suzhou folk houses.

Humble Administrator's Garden, a grand view garden-style classical luxury garden, is known as the "model garden in the world" with the layout of mountain island, bamboo dock, Songshan Mountain and Qushui. It is the first of the four famous gardens in China, a national key cultural relic protection unit, one of the national characteristic tourist attractions and a world cultural heritage. So far, Humble Administrator's Garden is the only one in China with these four laurels. It is divided into three relatively independent small parks: East, Middle and West. The central part is the main attraction and essence of Humble Administrator's Garden. The area is about 18.5 mu. Its overall layout is centered on the pool, and pavilions are built by the water, and some pavilions are straight out of the water, which is quite characteristic of Jiangnan water town. The overall pattern still maintains the rich, simple and elegant artistic style of Ming gardens. Judging from the architectural names of the central garden of Humble Administrator's Garden, most of them are related to lotus flowers. The reason why Wang wants to vigorously promote Lotus is mainly to show his noble character.

The west was originally a "supplementary garden" with an area of about 12.5 mu. Its water surface is circuitous, the layout is compact, and pavilions are built by mountains and rivers. Because after a substantial reconstruction, the ingenious and artificial artistic style formed after Qianlong gained the upper hand, but the water and stone parts were still close to the central scenic spot. The winding water gallery and the stream passing through Ling Bo were excellent works of Suzhou gardening art, and the main building in the west was the 36-yuan Yang Pavilion near the residential side, which was the place where the garden owner entertained guests and listened to songs at that time. The hall is well furnished. On a sunny day, looking at the outdoor scenery through the blue glass window is like a snow scene.

The eastern part of the garden was originally called "rural residence", because the eastern part of the garden belonged to Wang Xinyi, the assistant minister in the fourth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 163 1). About 3 1 mu, because the Guiyuan Garden has long been deserted, all of them are newly built, and the layout is mainly flat hills, pine lawns and bamboo houses. With the pavilions in the mountain pool, it still maintains a spacious and lively style. The main buildings are Lan Xuetang, Furong Pavilion, Tian Quan Pavilion and Zhuoyunfeng, all of which are relocated.

Because the Humble Administrator's Garden has a profound cultural background, it is a model of garden architecture art in Ming and Qing dynasties in China, so you must listen to the tour guide when entering the garden. There are many tour guides in the park who lead the team to explain, first follow a group and then play slowly by themselves. It is best to consult relevant information in advance to have a general understanding of it, and taste it carefully in the process of playing, so as to gain something.

The first scenic spot that takes the door is Lan Xuetang, where the host receives guests:

Very imposing, showing the master's glorious past, although the feeling of entering the door is very low-key.

As the tour guide walked west, he saw the Peach Blossom Pond under the green trees. This is a beautiful scenic spot, which not only reminds people of an ancient poem, "Peach blossoms still smile when the spring breeze doesn't know where to go."

Seen from the cave, the scenery below is very beautiful. I named this photo "Borrowing Scenery Tower". According to the tour guide, in ancient times, private gardens were not allowed to build pagodas, and only monasteries and imperial homes were qualified to build pagodas in the gardens. The owner of the garden wanted to have pagodas in his garden, so he skillfully borrowed the Hoonji Pagoda in the west of the garden. In his garden, he can clearly see the style of pagodas, which is a must in China's garden architecture and reflects the harmony and unity between his own building and the surrounding environment.

Then slowly walk to the 36-yuan Yang Pavilion (18 Datura Pavilion). There are not so many mandarin ducks, only two pairs swim freely. This is the main building of the owner's house, with a square plane with four rooms. The hall is divided into two parts, the south is called "Eighteen Datura Pavilion", and the north is called "Thirty-six". The south hall is the Eighteen Datura Flower Hall, and the Datura is camellia. Beitang was named after Linchi once raised thirty-six pairs of mandarin ducks. The ceiling of the Yuanyang Building is arched, which not only covers the beam frame on the roof beautifully, but also uses this arched roof to reflect the sound, enhance the acoustic effect, and make the lingering sound linger around the beam.

The pavilion is a place for the host to study and relax, which means "listening to the rain". This is a single-story pavilion with windows all around and a platform in front, which is an excellent place to enjoy the rainy scenery in Hà Thu. The most noteworthy thing in the museum is the three-dimensional sculpture of pine, bamboo, plum and magpie flying covers in Qing Dynasty. Skilled in knife work and ingenious in conception, it softens the two patterns of "Three Friends in Cold Years" and "Magpie Climbing Plums", which is a rare boutique in garden cornices.

See the mountain building, which is surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on two sides. The bottom floor is called "Lotus Head Champs", and the king of Wu rests on the veranda near the water. During the break, you can take a closer look at the fish and enjoy the lotus flowers, while the scenery in the garden unfolds in front of your eyes. Upstairs is Jianshan Building, and Tao Yuanming has a famous saying, "Pick chrysanthemums under the east fence and see Nanshan leisurely." This used to be the office of Li Xiucheng, a loyal monarch of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Li Xiucheng, an outstanding general of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, is inextricably linked with Suzhou and the Humble Administrator's Garden. In the tenth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1860), after Li Xiucheng led the army to capture Suzhou, Sufu Province was established. According to Shuowen, "Fuyuan Wu Zhai extends to Pan in the east and to Wang in the west, and becomes a palace". It is said that when Li Xiucheng was in Zhongyi Wang Fu, he liked to work in the back garden and look at the mountain buildings. This building is built by the mountains and rivers, and the upstairs and downstairs are not connected with each other, which is relatively safe. When he is closed, he can look out of the window, overlook the western mountains and get a close look at the garden. 100 years have passed, and now the hero is gone and the building is still there. Kanshanlou carries an unforgettable historical situation.

Below is the inverted photo studio, mainly looking at the reflection in the water. The so-called reflection is not the reflection of the building itself, but the reflection of the East Corridor. The building is divided into two floors, and the downstairs is the "worship ceremony". Wen means, Shen means Shen Zhou. They are both famous painters in Suzhou, and Shen Zhou is the teacher. At that time, the owner of Xiyuan, Zhang Yu, built this building in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894) to show his admiration. The reflection is picturesque and the scenery is excellent. Wen Zhiming has a deep relationship with Humble Administrator's Garden. Wu Pai, one of the representative figures, amused himself with books and swam in the Woods, with a pure and tranquil painting style. He is closely related to the garden owner Wang. After the garden was completed, Wang often invited him to dinner and enjoyed it, often forgetting the beautiful scenery in the garden. Humble Administrator's Garden became the blueprint for writing essays. He has painted for the Humble Administrator's Garden several times, among which the Humble Administrator's Garden Map, which has been handed down to this day, is a masterpiece of poetry, books and paintings, each with its own strong points and mutual reflection. After more than 400 years, the wisteria planted by Wen Zhiming is still full of vitality, and full of green is called one of the "Suzhou Three Musts" by Mr. Li Genyuan. The stone carving of Wang Humble Administrator's Garden, made by Wang Humble Administrator, is now hidden in the reflecting room downstairs, with elegant and elegant words and leisurely words. Qian Zi Wen is located in Xishui Gallery and was written by Wen Zhiming at the age of 80. The brushwork is ethereal and the calligraphy is superb. Its artistic style seems to have some similarities with the elegant characteristics of Humble Administrator's Garden, which complements the famous garden.

The corridor below is a classic representative of Suzhou gardens. Looking south from the reflection pavilion, you can see the reflection of the whole corridor on the water, and the scenery is beautiful.

Does this little bridge in the photo look familiar? This is the small bridge that Daiyu crossed when she buried flowers in the TV series A Dream of Red Mansions.

There is a big camphor tree near this bridge. It is said that in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, when giving birth to a daughter, a camphor tree should be planted in the yard as a dowry when the daughter grows up and gets married.

On the hill to the east of the bridge, there is a girl's embroidered building. It is said that the young lady of the host family will make a wedding dress in this small building before getting married.

In fact, it is not surprising that Cao Xueqin's descriptions of the scenery of the Grand View Garden are similar to those of the Humble Administrator's Garden. Cao Xueqin's grandfather Cao Yin worked as a weaver in Suzhou during the Kangxi period. Cao Xueqin lived in Suzhou since childhood and was familiar with the characteristics of Suzhou gardens, so he was able to write such beautiful classic novels handed down from generation to generation.

The following is a photo taken unintentionally in the north of the bonsai garden. Later, when I took a closer look, it turned out to be Ms. WC. I walked in the garden for more than two hours, but I didn't see a toilet. I appreciate the architectural style of Suzhou gardens. Even the toilets are carefully designed, in harmony with the surrounding environment. Unlike other scenic spots, the toilet is far away, but it has one disadvantage. It's a little difficult to find a toilet in an emergency.

/kloc-around 0/2 o'clock, I walked out of the Humble Administrator's Garden and visited the commercial street outside the garden. It is a commercial street with Suzhou characteristics, and I appreciate the practice of Humble Administrator's Garden. Business and scenic spots are completely separated, unlike Zhouzhuang, which is too commercialized and gives people a very unpleasant feeling. The following are two commercial streets outside the Humble Administrator's Garden, which are completely in Suzhou's architectural style:

The overall feeling of Humble Administrator's Garden is worth a visit. If you have the chance, you will see different scenery in different seasons, such as cuckoo in spring and lotus in summer, hibiscus in autumn and plum in winter. Some suggestions on visiting the Humble Administrator's Garden;

1. Before you go, you must read some introductions about Humble Administrator's Garden to understand its cultural background and main attractions, and then you will have a deeper understanding and enjoyment when you go in to see it.

2. Be sure to follow the tour guide, because the Humble Administrator's Garden has a deep cultural background. Without a tour guide, you won't be deeply impressed after playing. You don't need to hire a tour guide, you can rub the tour guide behind the tour group.
