Qingyang *** has 61 tourist attractions, including 56 cultural ones (7 red revolutionary scenic spots) and 5 natural landscapes. The main attractions are: Zhou Zuling Mausoleum, Gongliu Temple, Longdong Folk Museum, Huangqi Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Ziwu Ridge, Hongnanliang, Shancheng Battle Site, North Grotto Temple, Shikong Temple Grottoes, Donglaoye Mountain, Xiajiagou Forest Park, Qianfo Mountain Forest Park, East Lake Park, Nanxiaohegou, etc. In 2011, Qingyang City was the only northwest city shortlisted in the competition of the top ten characteristic leisure cities in the country. In 2012, Qingyang continued to be shortlisted for the top ten characteristic leisure cities in China. It has a long history and is the only old revolutionary area in Gansu Province. In the 22 years from 1927 to the founding of New China in 1949, it experienced three major historical periods: the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Revolutionary Base Area, the Northwest Revolutionary Base Area, and the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Anti-Japanese Base Area. In 1927, the first rural party organization in Gansu was established in Ning County, the first revolutionary armed force in Shaanxi-Gansu Province, the Nanliang Guerrillas, was established. In 1934, the first Soviet regime in the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Region, the Nanliang Government, was established. The Shaanxi-Gansu border revolutionary base area with Nanliang in Qingyang City as the center is the largest revolutionary base area in China. Only the revolutionary base areas in the country remained in the late period of the Second Civil Revolutionary War. Its existence provided a foothold for the Long March of the Central Red Army and the Party Central Committee, and also provided a starting point for the three main forces of the Eighth Route Army to go north to resist Japan. When the Red Army was reorganized into the Eighth Route Army, most of the troops were stationed in Qingyang City. The Nanliang Government is in Qingyang, the former site of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Provincial Government in Helianwan and the former site of the Battle of Shanbao are patriotism and revolutionary traditional education bases designated by the country, province and city respectively. The spirit of the old district, forged in the struggle of blood and fire, is the precious spiritual wealth left to the people of Qingyang by the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries. Landscape Qingyang City has 24 north-south roads, 55 east-west roads, and 23 lanes. There are two municipal squares, namely Harmony Square and Zhouzu Square; there are six lakes, namely East Lake Park, Gongfan Lake (east of the city), West Lake, Tianhu, Qingyang Lake (all in the south of the city) and Gongliu Lake (all in the south of the city) North).
