General situation of China Yangtze Three Gorges International Tourism Festival

In recent years, relying on the rich tourism resources of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Chongqing and Hubei held the "China Chongqing Three Gorges International Tourism Festival" and the "China Yichang Three Gorges International Tourism Festival" respectively, which achieved good economic benefits.

In 2009, in order to integrate tourism resources and optimize the golden tourist routes of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Chongqing and Hubei established the concept of cooperation and win-win tourism development under the background of the Three Gorges Regional Tourism Development Plan. The two places decided to end the pattern of "you live at the head of the Yangtze River and I live at the end of the Yangtze River". From 20 10, led by the National Tourism Administration, the two provinces and cities held the "China Three Gorges International Tourism Festival" in turn to unify the name, duration, theme, slogan and badge of the Three Gorges Festival.
