Xiamen: Support cultural tourism and other difficult industries, and provide interest discounts on loans above 300,000 yuan

On the evening of February 26, the Xiamen Municipal People's Government of Fujian Province issued the "Notice on Eight Measures to Respond to the New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic and Promote the Resumption of Work and Production of Enterprises", proposing to support property tax and land use tax for industries in difficulty, and provide interest subsidies support measures.

Enterprises in the transportation, cultural tourism, exhibition and accommodation and catering industries will be fully supported based on the property tax and urban land use tax paid from February to March 2020.

For small and micro enterprises in transportation, cultural tourism, exhibitions, accommodation and catering, wholesale and retail, foreign trade and other industries, new investments of 300,000 yuan or more incurred from January 1 to May 31, 2020 For additional bank loans (including extensions), an interest discount will be provided based on 50% of the actual loan interest rate of the enterprise (the maximum is not to exceed the one-year loan base interest rate), and the interest discount period shall not exceed 6 months.

Xiamen stated that if the above policies have new regulations from the country and Fujian Province, they will be implemented in accordance with the principle of non-duplication.
