D 1 Pingliang, Zhongwei Gaomiao and Shapotou

There are many buses from Pingliang to Zhongwei. I took 2655 from Xi 'an and arrived in Pingliang at 2 am. In order to save time, I went to bed the next morning.

Zhongwei Railway Station: The railway station is in the urban area, so it is convenient to go anywhere. The city is not big and taxis are not expensive. I recommend the barbecue stall in the railway station square, which is very good, especially the fruit beer, which is made in Qingyang and costs two yuan a bottle.

Zhongwei High Temple: Located in the north of zhongwei, it is built on a high platform connected with the city wall (including the security temple under the high platform). It is said that it was built in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403- 1424) and has been rebuilt for several generations. By the Qing dynasty, it had become a large-scale ancient building complex, showing the style of ancient buildings in Ningxia. It is as famous as Shapotou Hungry "Desert Wonder" and is one of the two major landscapes in Zhongwei.

Location Transportation: On the south side of Zhongwei Railway Station is Gaomiao Temple, which is about 300 meters apart and 2-3 minutes' walk. The high temple is in the city, so it is convenient to take a taxi. Just asking.

Shapotou: 90 yuan in peak season and 65 yuan in low season. The peak season is from April to 10. There are sand skiing, zip line, bungee jumping, desert off-road vehicle, camel riding, desert surfing car, cable car, desert hotel, desert bar, desert restaurant and many other services. Location and transportation: Zhongwei has many buses bound for Shapotou. It's interesting to walk out of the bus stop. Just ask the staff. Get off at the railway station, cross the square (100 meters) and walk to the intersection of North Street, where there is a through train. You can take a taxi to 25 yuan or so, and the price in Kan Kan is slightly lower.

Accommodation: Two accommodations in Shapotou Scenic Area are highly recommended. One is Shapotou Villa, near the Yellow River, with a straight line distance of no more than 20 meters, which looks like a quiet small quadrangle. The other is a desert hotel deep in the desert. The big window of the desert hotel can see the desert landscape. These two places have everything from restaurants to hot water toilets. The cost of one night from 200 yuan to 300 yuan may be adjusted according to different seasons.

If you want to live in a tent, here are some rentals, each less than 100 yuan. Sure, you can carry it on your back. You can build it as big as a desert.

D2 Tonghu grassland

Have fun in Shapotou the next day. Come out in the afternoon and charter a bus to Tonghu grassland. I spent the night in a yurt.

It doesn't matter how many days you stay if you have more time. Some friends went to the desert bar for three days. After drinking every day, they go barefoot to the desert hotel to take a bath and sleep in the moonlight.

Tonghu Grassland: Tickets are 50, regardless of off-season. Tonghu grassland is definitely a miracle in the desert, because there is water, so there is grassland. This is the fortress of the ancient Silk Road North Road. Ancient commercial road, ancient salt road and great victory over Kuigu camel road. Desert lakes, desert oases, desert grasslands, sand mountain rock paintings, as well as ancient Great Wall, ancient battlefields and ancient trade city sites; Stories and legends handed down through the ages, as well as hospitable grassland herders. Therefore, it is called "Eden" in the desert.

Geographical location and transportation: Tonghu grassland is 8 kilometers away from Shapotou scenic spot, but these 8 kilometers go deep into the desert, all of which are deserts. There are three ways to get there from Shapotou scenic spot: camel team, desert off-road vehicle and chartered car. The camel team took a trip to 380 yuan and walked in the desert for half a day; An off-road vehicle costs 2200 yuan to travel to and from the desert, which can take four people; Chartered car to and from 60 yuan, take the expressway. Saving money is very important. I waited for a few people at the gate of the scenic spot to charter a car together.

Accommodation: Since it is deep in the desert, it is recommended to rest here for a day or two. There is food and shelter here. The yurt is about 100 yuan. There are also tents. Bring your own convenience.

Reminder: If you don't have much time, you can go back to Pingliang from Tonghu. There are both trains and buses in Zhongwei, which is very convenient. I took several trains at night, slept in Pingliang and had to go to work. Suitable for two days on weekends.

D3 Yinchuan, Zhenbeibao Film and Television Base, Xixia Mausoleum and Husha Lake

It is very convenient to go to Zhongwei from Tonghu grassland or Shapotou. The taxi pulls to the bus station around 30 yuan, and the bus to Yinchuan leaves every half hour. 40 yuan is alone.

Zhenbeibao Film and Television City, Xixia Mausoleum and Husha are all near Yinchuan, and there are many tourist buses, which can be reached in less than an hour.

Zhenbeibao and Xixia Mausoleum can be visited in one day. There is a taxi between the two scenic spots, and you can walk around 50 yuan. You can also go back to the city by bus, which will delay more time.

Zhenbeibao Film and Television City: Ticket 60 yuan/person. Zhenbeibao was originally a garrison town built in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Before going here, I suggest spending a few weeks watching the following movies: Shepherd, Red Sorghum, Ballad of the Yellow River, Knight in the City of Shuangqi, A Chinese Odyssey, Xinlongmen Inn, Ashes of Time and so on.

Location and transportation: Take bus No.303 at Yinchuan Railway Station and go directly to Zhenbeibao Western Cinema, 1 hour.

Xixia Mausoleum: 60 yuan/person, the pass includes the No.3 Mausoleum and the whole area of Xixia Museum. Historically, the Xixia Tangut in "Tian Long Ba Bu" was the place where Xu Zhu was a son-in-law. The Tangut and Xixia Kingdom have long since disappeared in the historical trend, and even few people can read. In the mausoleum, many famous tasks sleep in it.

Geographical location and transportation: Xixia Mausoleum is at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, about 30 kilometers west of Yinchuan City. There are shuttle buses to Xixia Mausoleum at Nanmen Bus Station, Beimen Tourist Bus Station and Nanguan Mosque in Yinchuan. The fare is around 8 yuan, but the interval is long, depending on the passenger flow, ranging from 1 to 2 hours.

Accommodation: Accommodation in Yinchuan is very convenient, just look for it, there is nothing particularly recommended.

D4 Hu Sha and Pingliang's Home

Sand Lake: 60 yuan in peak season and 40 yuan in low season. Husha Lake has 10000 mu of water surface, 5000 mu of sand dunes, 2000 mu of reeds and 1000 mu of lotus ponds, which are rich in fish and birds. There are more than a dozen rare birds such as cranes, Hei He and swans. You can watch birds playing in the distance from the bird-watching tower. There are countless nests between reeds and reeds at the water's edge. Every spring, colorful eggs are scattered among them, which is a spectacle.

Location and Transportation: Located in Pingluo County, Ningxia, 56 kilometers away from Yinchuan City. There is a long-distance bus from the North Gate Bus Station in the old city of Yinchuan to the entrance of Hushajing District, which runs every half hour to one hour.
