2. Dishuidong 1 Building

brief introduction

The first building of Dishuidong was built in 1960, completed in 1962, and earthquake-resistant houses and air-raid shelters were added in 1970. The whole building is blue bricks and gray tiles, flowing eaves and flying feet, simple and natural.

1966 June 17 to 28, President Mao Zedong returned to Shaoshan for the last time, where he had a business break, held a forum and met with leaders of Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Xiangtan State Committee and Hunan Shaoshan Administration Bureau.

On May 25th, 2006, the State Council announced the Dishuidong 1 building as the national key cultural relics protection unit.

Shaoshan Tourist Area is located in Shaoshan City, Hunan Province, about 108km away from Changsha City.
