This is a small town located in a highland valley, far away from the hustle and bustle of the world, quiet and beautiful. Pateley Dam and Salmon Steps Scottish Hydro Visitor Center

Every spring, Salmon Swim from the sea back to the fresh water where it spawned, where it dies. On the way to Petrohuri, the dam blocked the salmon's original path. In order to complete the magnificent journey of salmon death, the famous Salmon Staircase was specially built locally. Salmon can cross the dam through these connected pools, and visitors can enjoy the unique sight of salmon trying to leap up the artificial ladder.

Blair Castle Blair Castle This castle is located in the town of Blair Athol, 6 miles northwest of Petroli. It was built in the 13th century and has a history of more than 700 years. It is now rated as a five-star attraction by the British Tourist Board. Every May, visitors can see the Scottish Highlanders parade here in their costumes.
