April issue 1 yuan coin 1980!

China dollar coin was first issued in 1980. 1979, China People's Bank designated four new coins in Shenyang mint design circulation: 1 dime, 2/dime, 5/dime and 1 yuan coin. The factory quickly put forward the design scheme and got approval. At the beginning of 1980, these four coins began to be produced and issued soon. Among them, three kinds of corner coins are made of golden yellow copper-zinc alloy, with wheat ear gear patterns (similar to aluminum cents); 1 yuan coin is made of silver-white copper-nickel alloy with Badaling Great Wall on the front, so it is commonly called "Great Wall Coin".
