Introduction to Suzhou

Suzhou, known as Wu in ancient times and simply Su, also known as Gusu, Pingjiang, etc., is a national historical and cultural city and scenic tourist city, a national high-tech industrial base, and one of the important central cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. , the central city of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor and an important part of the Jiangsu Yangtze River Economic Belt, has the reputation of "paradise on earth".

The terrain of Suzhou is low and flat, with plains accounting for 55% of the total area. Suzhou belongs to two first-level natural geographical areas: the Yangtze River Delta Plain and the Taihu Plain. The area is divided into four second-level natural areas: the riverside plain sandbank area, the Suxi plain area, the Taihu Lake and lakeside hilly areas, and the Yangchengdian Maowei area.
