7. The Ministry of Health has decided to continue to designate relatively fixed consultation areas in hospitals in Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu and Shanghai where Taiwan Province compatriots are concentrated, so as to provide medical services for Taiwan Province compatriots. To facilitate cross-strait medical and health exchanges and cooperation, facilitate Taiwan Province compatriots to seek medical treatment in the mainland, and facilitate Taiwan Province compatriots to return to Taiwan Province Province for reimbursement of medical expenses after seeking medical treatment in the mainland. While writing and preserving medical documents in accordance with the relevant regulations of the mainland, mainland hospitals provide Taiwan Province compatriots with a medical document that meets the conditions for returning to Taiwan Province Province.

Taiwanese doctors who apply for short-term medical practice in Chinese mainland can engage in professional activities in Chinese mainland for a period of 1 year after completing the relevant procedures, and can apply for extension after the expiration.
