Dayu crosses Jiawu Terrace

On April 12, 2020, when the second wave of cold wave this spring was about to subside, it happened to be a weekend and the spring was bright, so I made an appointment with my classmates to climb the Jiawu Terrace, which I had known for a long time but had never been to before. After planning the trip, I decided to travel through it for the first time in my life.

At 9:30 in the morning, I drove to the entrance of Baidaoyu Village on time to wait for my classmates. Due to the epidemic and fire prevention, there was a checkpoint at the entrance of the village to prevent strangers like us from entering. While I was waiting for my classmates, I strolled into the peach garden next to me. Although the peach blossoms were gone, I looked up and was fascinated by the spring scenery in front of me. I took some pictures of the beautiful scenery and explored two walking trails into the mountains (actually ridges leading into the village). Unfortunately, We plan to start crossing from Dayu.

When the classmates arrived, we parked the car in the parking lot at the entrance of Baidaoyu Village, took the same car into Dayu, swiped the green code and passed the first pass smoothly, and the second pass was in Dayu. At the entrance of the village committee, he refused to let the car in, so he parked the car next to the bayonet and walked into the mountain from under the Dayu Reservoir.

Climb up from the reservoir to the reservoir dam. Above the reservoir is a smooth road into the mountain. In the mountains in early spring, I still feel the slightest chill in the morning.

In the valley, there is a lake with clear water like emerald. There is no wind and the sun is warm on the lake. The lakeside scenery is embedded in the lake water, just like a huge piece of amber.

The white silk plum blossoms all over the mountains and plains are dotted in the green mountains and fields, and the spring scenery is infinitely beautiful.

On the roadside of the reservoir, I met an old mountain man from the Wuli Temple Group who was doing morning exercises, and we moved forward together. Just enough to show us the way.

Following its guidance, we passed through the narrow alley between the boundary walls of the two farmhouses on the right side of the Wuli Temple Group, entered a mountain stream, and followed the clear spring stone upstream.

Spring comes late in the mountains and it is a very cold season, but at this time we did not feel the chill. I was so hot that I took off my fleece jacket.

Not far away, I met three old mountain people on the mountain road who had just collected exotic flowers and herbs and loaded them into the car. They saw a cluster of small purple flowers blooming on the top of a single purple pole, which was very beautiful. I asked him his name and told me, but I forgot it afterwards, which was very annoying.

The stream is clear and shallow, flowing between rocks.

Tenacious and stubborn vitality. He is using his weak body to challenge the boulder.

Continuing along the gorge mountain road, I met an old mountain man who was catching up from behind. He said that his home was at the fork of the valley on the left hand side, and you could reach the Lion's Cottage. It was not easy to walk from the valley to Jiawutai Road. According to his directions, there are a few low mountain houses not far away. If you want to go to Jiawu Terrace, just follow the mountain road on the right side. The road is easier to walk and there are many scenic spots.

As soon as we reached the mountain ridge, the spring scenery of the mountain spread across our eyes. The faint fragrance and white silk plum petals as white as jade stole my heart. The ridge at the foot is the watershed between Dayu, Xiaoyu and Baidaoyu. A small temple has been renovated on the east cliff, called Wuliang Hall. In front of the hall, there was a male mountain man from Baidaoyu Village who set up a stall selling cold noodles, bagged snacks and boiled water. While chatting, he filled my 2-pound thermos with a pot of water for 15 yuan. I guess the remaining items he sells every day will be stored in Wuliang Palace during the night!

When I visited my old place again after two years, I saw a young couple and their son selling food, bottled water, drinks and so on. I didn’t see the stall that boiled water or the stove. An old man.

I asked the male stall owner curiously what was going on?

He smiled and said, "That's my dad. He's old and can't climb up anymore. He hasn't climbed up since last year."

I lamented that things are not easy, and I also smiled. Continue to ask: Why don’t you boil water and sell it?

He replied to me with a strange smile: "The water is in the ditch below. I can't carry it up!"

The white silk plum blossoms appeared in three states: in full bloom, The buds and pregnant buds are set off by the green leaves, as white as silk, so lovely! This is my first time seeing Baijuanmei. It is also known as white azalea, cocoon flower, nine live heads, pumpkin fruit, etc. It is a white azalea in the Rosaceae family and is a shrub. The white azalea plum flower means "loyalty and perseverance". It is suitable to be given to someone with such qualities to express your appreciation for the other person.

Take a break in front of the Wuliang Temple at an altitude of 1,300 meters, and walk along the watershed mountain road at your feet in the direction of Longji while watching the scenery. There are many natural viewing platforms along the way, and the points change. It has the feeling that "it looks like a ridge from the side and a peak from the side, with different heights from near and far".

Standing among the flowers, looking up at the scenery of Dayuchagou, the mountains are winding, steep and green. Not far from the Wuliang Hall, you can see the Manjusri Thatch on the left.

Wandering in the sea of ??flowers:

Silk branches are hanging around you, and jade rings are left behind in the Yaochi;

The spring is bright and beautiful, and walking through the flowers makes your heart feel crazy.

See a cluster of flowers up close, and see snow-covered mountains from a distance.

The first time I met this "Smurf", with its crystal clear red flower stalks and light blue and purple petals growing on a green leaf, I really worried about how they would survive the cold spring in the mountains and fields. of? Later I learned its famous name: Xiaoyao Badanzi. It is a plant of the genus Viola in the poppy family, a thin perennial herb, about 15-20 cm tall, with blue or purple-blue flowers.

Walk in the direction of Daiding and enjoy the scenery.

My impressions of admiring the white silk plum blossoms in the Jiawutai Mountains

Snowy pistil flowers, cocoon flowers, and clouds and mist drifting over the cliffs.

Wandering in the sea of ??flowers and bees and butterflies, even the gods are envious of their homes.

At this time, the hunting red flag on Xingqing Temple on Daiding can be seen in the distance.

Walking through the mountain boulevard, we came to a platform with an ancient brick tower next to it. This is the site of the Mountain Temple.

The temple was destroyed, leaving only an ancient blue brick pagoda.

Suddenly "hit the ladder", looking up, I saw the dangerous situation of the Hundred-foot Gorge of Huashan Mountain. This ladder is called a small ladder.

Climb up the ladder, look up at the golden crow soaring in the sky, and look down to see if the rice fields in Fanchuan can be tidied up.

Climb to the Nantian Gate of Ksitigarbha Hall. The arched gate is built with mountains and rocks. The way to survive is thick and thin.

Looking back at the ladder, it feels like the sky is hanging down.

The palace door is open but no one is guarding it. Looking for the way back on the cliff in front of the temple, we have a panoramic view of the Dayu Reservoir, with "spots of residual snow" dotting the mountains and fields, just like the sea of ??stars falling into the world last night.

After leaving the Ksitigarbha Hall, go right along the cliff path, but accidentally enter the tiger's mouth behind the hall.

I had just escaped from the tiger's mouth and was still in shock.

I was afraid that the tiger would chase me. I turned around in panic and saw a giant goshawk clinging to the right side of the tiger's head, fluttering its wings and trying to fly.

The goshawk's sharp claws seemed to have been firmly pressed by the tiger's right front paw. I hurriedly found a wooden stick and prepared to sacrifice my life to drive the tiger away and save the eagle...

However, tigers and eagles fight and ignore human feelings. I wiped the cold sweat off my face and calmly took a photo with him.

Under the blue sky and the warm sunshine, man and nature are in harmony.

While we were here, the five-star red flag flying high on Xingqing Temple in Daiding was blowing in the west wind.

You have to hurry up, there is still a long way to go before you can visit Daiding.

Walking on the original ecological trail on the ridge, you can see the craggy rocks and the scenery is even more gorgeous. Not long after, we arrived at the iconic landscape "Broken Mountain Stone". Broken Mountain Stone is just like its name. Two adjacent stones seem to have been split by a giant axe. There is also a legend that Guan Gong split the stone with the Qinglong Yanyue Sword. There is no historical record that he ever visited Xi'an? Beautiful things don't need to be taken seriously. The "cut surface" is smooth and neat, which makes people marvel at the uncanny craftsmanship of nature. If you want to climb to the top of Dai, you must pass through this "split" stone crack.

Turn back from the broken mountain stone and you will see the broken mountain stone Huguo Temple. Poshan Shihuguo Temple is also called Poshan Temple by the locals. It is a representative of the prosperous Buddhist culture of Jiawu Tai. It has a very long history. It has been a famous temple near Chang'an City since the Tang Dynasty. The "Lama Cave" in the temple is where the Tibetan Living Buddha Panchen Lama once lived. The place where you lived. And here is the only fully preserved Bodhisattva in Zhongnan Mountain, which also adds a bit of mysterious humanistic history to this temple. Bodhisattva in body refers to the miraculous phenomenon that the body of the eminent monk will not decay after the death of the enlightened monk. The "physical Bodhisattva" in the temple is the physical body of nun Nengren who passed away in 1997.

The Broken Mountain Stone Temple does not look large in scale from the outside, but the boundary monument of the Broken Mountain Stone Huguo Temple here is next to the Ksitigarbha Hall on a hilltop below. Due to the terrain and terrain factors, the main hall and the There are mountains to climb between the main halls. Judging from this, the scale of this temple is not small at all.

Its appearance suddenly reminded me of the legend of agarwood splitting the mountain to save his mother on the West Peak of Huashan Mountain. Could it be that when the Erlang God Yang Jian was chasing the Great Sage with a three-pointed two-edged halberd, he assassinated him and hid in the stone here. The "accomplishments" left behind by the Great Sage? I borrowed a tourist's hiking pole to make a rock splitting shape, and there were tourists around me holding sharp axes to help me split the rocks to clear the way. Everyone helped me with advice and gestures, and the laughter and laughter floated in the valley for a long time.

Looking at Dayu from the Poshanshi Observation Deck, winter clothes are being shed in the mountains and spring clothes are being put on, and the plains outside the mountains are full of green.

Just after climbing up the zigzag road and passing the broken rocks, you will find the "One Line of Sky" scenic spot.

Then we came to the wind tunnel.

At this time, the warm sun happened to be on the cliff of the wind tunnel, and thousands of golden rays shot down, creating a warm golden curtain for the wind tunnel.

Passing through the wind tunnel, you can have a panoramic view of the scenery of Xiaoyu Shimencha.

Looking at the Xuewa Mountains, there is a "flying stone" shaped like a toad lying on the cliff. Could it be that it is the incarnation of the toad that played Chang'e in the heaven?

Standing behind the wind tunnel, blowing the wind and pushing, trying to make the wind tunnel bigger.

The wind tunnel is adjacent to the Huixin Stone, which looks like a Qin terracotta warrior head.

Go up the Chaotian Staircase, pass the Daiding Xingqing Temple with an altitude of more than 1,800 meters, walk along the Changkong Plank Road, and then ride the Dragon's Backbone.

Jiawu Terrace is composed of five peaks. It has been called Xiaohua Mountain since ancient times. The highest peak is about 1,800 meters above sea level. The peaks here rise one after another, the mountains are steep and winding, and the scenery is strange and dangerous. It is also the unique feature of Qinling Mountains. The watershed between Dayu and Xiaoyu is lined with temples and huts. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, this was a holy place for Buddhism. Today, the mountain has a strong Buddhist culture and is a popular tourist attraction among tourists. It is also one of the best places to watch the sea of ??clouds after the rain.

"Flying over" the nearly 100-meter long plank road in the sky is already on the dragon's spine of Yushu Linfeng. Looking at the dragon's spine, it is less than 10 centimeters wide, with thousands of feet on both sides. There were so many tourists in the abyss that they stopped moving forward. My classmates were afraid of heights and did not continue with me. I stepped on the dragon's spine and ran towards the dragon's head, like a gust of wind, without any fear in my heart.

An outdoor team member was taking pictures on Dragon’s Back, and I borrowed their team flag and got excited.

There are two Xiaoling Yangchang trails on the same side under the small pine forest near Longtou: one is called Xuewa Mountain, and the other is unmarked (later I learned that it is a branch road to Guanyin Cave, Longkou, and can also go to and from Xuewa Mountain). There was a small platform in front of the dragon's head, and a young woman was sitting cross-legged alone on the edge of the cliff. It was really heart-wrenching, so I told her to step back, but unexpectedly she spread her legs and hung outside the dragon's head. I couldn't help but Dare to speak any more.

I excitedly took photos at the dragon head and took videos to share the beautiful scenery with my relatives and friends.

Suddenly, there was a burst of shouting from the bottom of the opposite valley. Looking for the sound and looking closely, it was three male tourists standing on a platform, looking up at the dragon head and shouting. The girl hurriedly asked how they got there. ? They told the girl the route. The girl felt scared to go alone, so she invited me to go with them. How could I miss it because I am such a good swimmer.

The two of us passed by in a hurry. She said that it took less than ten minutes. The mountains and valleys seemed very far away. I didn’t expect that there was a shortcut through the winding road.

Oh, Guanyin Cave. A small wide platform was built in front of the cave, which was exquisite and orderly. There was a vegetable patch in the courtyard. Just as a young monk came out of the cave with a smile and told us about the past and present life of Guanyin Cave. I saw an aqueduct built under the cliff on the right side of the cave entrance. After asking the monks, I learned that it was a water channel used by the previous cave owner to collect rootless water from the cliff and flow directly into the water cellar in the corner of the courtyard. There is also a trickling mountain spring flowing out of the cave and returning to the road.

I stopped in front of the Guanyin Cave and chatted with the monk. He gave me the mountain spring water he boiled to drink. I knew that there was Xuewa Mountain nearby, but I just didn’t know how to get there? Before leaving, the monk filled my thermos with mountain spring water, and I expressed my gratitude.

At this time, the three tourists came to the left side of the cave again and climbed up the steep stone wall that could only accommodate one person. They said that this is the best place for Zhaojia Wutai Canglong Ridge. After they came down, I also climbed up curiously. Going up, you will indeed get a beautiful view, which is a worthwhile trip.

I will definitely climb Mount Xuewa next time I come back.

When we turned back, we came to Longkou without knowing it. It's a pity that the dragon's mouth effect was not photographed.

Go back up the dragon's spine and go down to the fairy field.

Sitting cross-legged in the fairy field, watching Xuewa Mountain, basking in the sun, and feeling comfortable.

Descend from Longji, cross the Changkong Plank Road, and exit the mountain gate of Xingqing Temple.

Descend to Chaotian Gate, and then go down the stairs from Chaotian Staircase. I feel that the outside of my right knee gradually feels a little bit. Discomfort.

Chaotian Ladder, also known as the Big Ladder, is similar to the Thousand-foot Tower of Huashan. It is a vertical cliff with three sides facing the air. There are iron chains and stone steps on both sides for climbing up: The person below is frightened, dizzy, and the two sides are fighting; the person above moves up close to the stone steps, breathing heavily. Panting and sighing endlessly;

Slowly, one step at a time, I moved down the mountain from Baidao Valley. Along the way, we passed many scenic spots, including more than 30 scenic spots such as Jingang Cliff, Taibai Temple, Xin'an Temple, Baidao Valley, etc., as well as lifelike rocks such as Guangong Dao Splitting Stone and Double Phoenix Chaoyang. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, many poets and scholars have come here to recite poems and paint, adding more humanistic color to the natural scenery.

From sunny to starry, we finally moved to the entrance of Baidaoyu Village.

I washed my hands at the faucet in front of a wealthy shop on the roadside, sat on its cement-covered porcelain bench, took out all the food and drinks I had saved in my suitcase, placed them on the table, and enjoyed the quiet spring fields and the frightened birds at night. Singing, enjoying the spring breeze, the faint fragrance of flowers, looking up to recognize the long-lost stars in the sky, eating, drinking, chatting, finishing "cleaning" the table, washing hands again, turning on the phone, paying for boiling water to the mountain people, and then watching WeChat's estimated step count of more than 30,000 steps came true, with 34,238 steps taken, dominating the screen today. They looked at each other and smiled, then set off and continued walking for more than 1 kilometer to the parking place, and then turned to Dayu to pick up the car. Provincial Highway 107 When we parted ways, I actually lost my way due to the simple navigation settings. I also lost my bearings and didn’t come back to my senses until we reached the Kuyu Bridge on Huanshan Road.

Live up to my spring days, live up to my classmates’ travels, and live up to my life. I am proud and happy to have successfully traveled through my life for the first time. Out of interest, I wrote the poem with a song:

Crossing the Jiawu Terrace

The Jiawu Terrace on Zhongnan Mountain has been envied for a long time and I have not been able to climb it.

On a bright and sunny spring day, my classmate *** went to Dayu to play.

The snow-falling mountains and fields are full of scenery, and the perfect emeralds are embedded in the valleys.

The entrance to Wuli Temple is full of joy, and rare flowers and plants are hidden in the mountain stream.

The streams are gurgling and the birds are singing sweetly, and tourists are tireless in walking through them.

I stopped to look at the beautiful rivers and mountains with plum blossoms on white silk.

Before walking in the watershed show, you can enjoy stunning views in many places.

Climb the small ladder to enjoy the southern sky, and then approach the cliff to take in the rivers and mountains.

Big valleys, small valleys, and white valleys are filled with mountains and ravines.

Looking at the sky and earth line of the city, the blue and gray sky covers the world.

The goshawk escaped from danger and broke through the mountains and rocks to connect to the sky.

The beautiful scenery in front and back of the wind tunnel, the faces of the Qin warriors in front of the Huixin Stone,

The top of Xingqing Temple is pierced, and there is a dangerous path with a small smoke plank.

View from the cliff at Canglongji Station and check in at Longtou Longkou.

Looking at the black dragon in front of Guanyin Cave, the whole view is majestic in the clouds.

On the way back, I bumped into Baidao Valley and moved to the bottom of the mountain for over 30,000 yuan.

The evening breeze whispers about the stars, and the fragrance of the mountains and fields never returns.

After drinking, wipe your mouth, smile at each other and drive away.

Dayu rode on Juechen, holding on to the stairs and rubbing his feet.

Boil water and scald feet to relieve fatigue, and wake up at half past eight.
