"Doraemon" (Japanese: ドラえもん; English: Doraemon; old translation: Tinkerbell/Tinker Bell) is a comic created by Japanese cartoonist Hiroshi Fujimoto (pen name Fujiko·F·Fujio).

The comic tells the story of Doraemon, a cat-shaped robot from the 22nd century. Entrusted by his owner Nobi Shishu, he returns to the 20th century and uses various futures taken out from his four-dimensional pocket. It uses props to help Shixiu's great-great-grandfather, the elementary school student Nobita Nobita, resolve various difficult problems around him, as well as the light-hearted, humorous, funny and touching stories that happened in life with his friends around him.

The comic has been serialized in the magazine "Primary School 1-4 Graders" since January 1970, and has become very popular among primary school students. The "Doraemon" series is extensive, with 1,345 chapters of short comics written by the original author himself (divided into 45 single volumes), 16 chapters of full-length comics, and 6 volumes of "Doraemon Plus", published by Fujimoto After Hong's death, a large number of comics were created by his disciples, and new works are still being released.

Background of the work:

The creation of Doraemon can be traced back to a deadline in 1969. A kitten suddenly broke into the home of the author Fujiko F. Fujio. , although the deadline was coming soon, the author still played with the kitten and scratched its lice for several hours.

By the time the author realizes that there is not enough time, it is too late to complete the manuscript. At this time, the author was walking around like an ant on a hot pot, and suddenly kicked his daughter's roly-poly toy. Then the author had an idea and combined the image of the cat with the roly-poly to create Doraemon.
