Tourism Management (applied undergraduate degree, four-year schooling)
This major cultivates people with good qualities and professional qualities, masters basic theoretical knowledge of tourism and management methods and skills, and is familiar with domestic and international Relevant policies, business processes and service skills in the tourism and hotel industries, applied and compound senior tourism management professionals with good etiquette, strong communication skills and comprehensive ability to solve practical problems. After graduation, students can engage in tourism resource development and management in travel agencies, high-end hotels, scenic spots, resorts and other tourism industry enterprises as well as government tourism administrative departments at all levels. They can also engage in teaching, training and research in schools and scientific research institutes. Work.
After completing one and a half years of basic courses in tourism management, students can choose from four professional directions including hotel management, travel agency and exhibition management, tourism development and scenic spot management, and eco-tourism management based on their personal development aspirations. One comes to learn.

2. Travel agency and exhibition management direction: travel agency management, selected tourism management cases, tour guide practice, exhibition tourism, exhibition planning, exhibition project management, etc.
3. Tourism development and scenic area management direction: tourism project development and operation, tourism landscape design, tourist attraction management, tourism planning, tourism planning theory and practice, tourism destination management and marketing, etc.

This major has two first-level master’s degree programs, including Business Administration and Landscape Architecture. It is a national-level specialty and is supported by Guangxi’s key disciplines and new doctoral degree-granting units’ project construction supporting disciplines. It has a Guangxi district-level teaching team and quality courses.
Note: Due to restrictions on employment conditions, this major requires candidates to be in good shape, have good facial features, height standards for boys and girls to be above 165cm and 158cm respectively, and to have a high level of spoken English.
Landscape Science (undergraduate, four-year schooling)
This major cultivates students with good theoretical literacy and related professional knowledge and skills in landscape planning and design, and has the ability to master landscape planning, design, construction and management. Ability, focusing on senior application-oriented professionals who master the theories and methods of landscape planning and design. After graduation, students can work in relevant enterprises and institutions in the planning, design and construction of various garden landscapes and green spaces such as tourist attractions, urban park landscapes, forest park landscapes, nature reserves, residential areas, roads, etc. They can also engage in scientific research, Teaching and administrative work.

This major has a first-level master's degree in landscape architecture. Tourism Management
In 1994, it began to recruit master's degree students in "Tourism Resources Development and Management" under the "Mineral Survey and Exploration" master's program. It was the earliest institution in Guangxi to recruit tourism management graduate students. In 1998, with the approval of the Guangxi Department of Education and the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, our school and Central South Forestry University jointly recruited postgraduate courses in tourism management for three consecutive years in Guangxi, with a total number of more than 200 students. In 2000, approved by the Ministry of Education, we obtained the "Tourism It has the right to confer a master's degree in "Management" and in 2001, it obtained the right to run a "Master's degree program for students with equivalent academic qualifications in tourism management". As of 2006, a total of 122 master's degree students in tourism management have been recruited within the national plan, and 302 students with equivalent academic qualifications in tourism management have applied for a master's degree program. Through the key construction of this discipline, it has made important contributions to the sustainable social and economic development of the country and Guangxi in the main research directions of tourism resource development and management, tourism enterprise management, ethnic tourism development and management, ecological tourism, and tourism resource economics. It has become an important base for training high-level talents in the tourism industry in southwest China.
China’s Ethnic Minority Economy
In 2006, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was granted the right to confer a master’s degree in “China’s Ethnic Minority Economy”. It enrolled 6 master's degree students that year and currently has 26 graduate students. This major strives to cultivate a more systematic grasp of the basic theories of Marxist ethnology, economics, and contemporary market economic theory, and to be able to use ethnic economic theory to analyze and study major issues in the economic development of ethnic minorities and ethnic areas. After graduation, students can engage in professional or adjacent professional teaching and research work in scientific research institutes and colleges and universities, and can also engage in economic management work in government departments and enterprises at all levels. This major offers four research directions: ethnic regional economic research, ethnic tourism economic research, ethnic resource economy, and ethnic ecological economy.
Tourism MBA
MBA (Master Of Business Administration), Master of Business Administration. A professional master's degree originating from European and American countries that specializes in cultivating mid- to senior-level professional managers. Our school's MBA program adheres to the MBA education philosophy of "aim high, extract essence and use macro", carefully design the curriculum system, and use local case teaching, simulated entrepreneurship and management practice as the main teaching methods. It will be based in Guangxi, facing the southwest, and radiating to ASEAN , is committed to cultivating professional business managers who have strategic thinking, master modern management theories and methods, have the ability to analyze and solve management problems, have high moral standards and strong execution capabilities. We strive to build our school's MBA education into a high-quality program with a certain reputation in the country and a first-class program in the west.
Our school has more than 120 teachers in the business administration discipline. According to the requirements and characteristics of MBA teaching, we have established an MBA teaching team. The team has 60 full-time teachers who are qualified to teach MBA courses, including 30 professors. There are 30 associate professors and 31 teachers with doctorate degrees, accounting for 52% of the total number of full-time teachers. They all have rich teaching experience, and most of the teachers have held middle and senior management positions in enterprises or provided management consulting services to enterprises. Each MBA core course is equipped with more than two teachers with senior professional titles or doctoral degrees and rich teaching experience. 90% of core course teachers have practical experience. Teachers are actively encouraged to participate in off-campus MBA courses, course seminars and various forms of teaching seminars organized by the National MBA Education Steering Committee, so that teachers can understand the teaching content and teaching methods of MBA core courses as well as MBA development trends.
The scientific research ability and scientific application ability of management teachers are also outstanding. In the past five years, *** has completed more than 170 scientific research projects, including 11 national-level projects, more than 80 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and more than 80 projects commissioned by local governments and enterprises. The total amount of scientific research funds in place exceeds 15 million yuan.
