What do you think of black tourism?

I support black tourism. Black tourism in Europe and America has a long history. In 2005, after the hurricane hit New Orleans, a local travel agency launched the "Katrina Disaster Tour" as a memorial to the victims. Of the $35 tour fee paid by each tourist, $3 is directly used for disaster relief. For the balance between social benefits and economic benefits of black tourism, successful cases abroad may give us some enlightenment.

Black tourism refers to a phenomenon that people travel to places where death, disaster, pain, terrorist incidents or tragedies occur. Black tourism is a new hot research field abroad, especially in North America, and it is also a controversial field. The so-called "black tourism" is to take the coal mine shaft as the position and carrier to let people experience the hard work of coal miners, so as to achieve the tourism of educating people to cherish life, loving labor and cherishing the value of every job, and promoting everyone to play their own light and heat effect.

In the late 1950s, the German government officially opened the original site of the concentration camp as a "black tourism" spot. The tour guide said that hundreds of thousands of teenagers visit here every year. Some teenagers and teachers live here for a few days or even weeks to learn about Nazi history.

Besides World War II and Nazis, Germans still remember the painful lessons of high pollution in the process of industrialization. Ruhr Customs Union Coal Mining Area is a highly polluted "black tourism" scenic spot. The scenery seen in the coal mining area surprised the reporter: under the high coal lifting derrick, red brick buildings lined up, with neatly trimmed lawns and wide sidewalks in the middle. In the mining area, the whole process of coal from mining to processing is displayed. Its area is equivalent to 200 football fields, and it is original.

Of course, the most famous "black tourism" attraction in Germany is the Berlin Wall. The Berlin Wall, a symbol of the Cold War, was demolished in 1989, but it has been continuously restored in recent years. In particular, the "East Gallery", as the longest existing section of the Berlin Wall, attracts a large number of tourists to visit and take photos in front of the wall every year.

There are also many black tourism resources in China that are worth our experience. May 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake Site in Sichuan 12, April Yushu Earthquake in Qinghai 14, July 28th Tangshan Earthquake Site 1976, Northeast Wudalianchi Volcano Site, etc. These places are worth visiting. Let us remember history and cherish the memory of our compatriots who died in the disaster.
