In which province is Wulai Mountain located?
Wulai District is a district-level administrative district under the jurisdiction of New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is surrounded by mountains and has beautiful scenery. It is the largest administrative district in New Taipei City and the southernmost administrative district in New Taipei City. It is a tourist destination. Famous for its hot springs and mountain cherry blossoms. It is also the northernmost aboriginal mountainous area in Taiwan. The residents are mainly Atayal people. The place name comes from the "Ulai" in the aboriginal Atayal language, which means "hot spring". The Atayal aborigines in Wulai District were once called "Quchifan" during the Qing Dynasty and the Japanese colonial period.
