Highlight: Vast virgin forests, steep cliffs and mysterious Grand Canyon, where you can enjoy more natural gifts when camping.

Tip: Don't forget to taste the spring water of Changshou Spring. It is said that there are dozens of families who have been drinking this spring for generations, and every family has an old man in his nineties. It's best not to camp in the mountains, safety first.

shisanling reservoir

There are many tree-lined paths in the Shisanling Reservoir. Water and sky are the same color, and grass is the sky. This is a good place for camping. Set up a tent, sit on the ground of green grass, face the dam, eat and drink with the breeze, which is very comfortable. If you have spare capacity, you can choose to go to the imperial tomb.

Highlight: There is a particularly large grassland near the reservoir, which is very suitable for camping. One or two hundred people and the cars coming here don't feel crowded at all. Facing the dam and next to the water, don't have some fun.

Experience: Looking at the rainbow across the mountains in the distance, eating roast chicken wings and tasting red wine is so charming! In the evening, everyone dances with music in the middle.

Tip: Be sure to bring a radio and a tape. The temperature is low at night, so you should bring more things and clothes.

Self-driving route: Take Badaling Expressway and the Ming Tombs Reservoir exit.

Huangsongyu Reservoir

Huangsongyu Reservoir is not an "enthusiast-class" campsite, but a place unknown to most tourists. The spring water from the mountain spring meets the drinking water standard. There is room for a hundred tents by the reservoir, so it's no problem to sleep for three or five hundred people. Light a bonfire and spend a sleepless night first!

Lingshan

Nowadays, the distance between urbanites and nature is getting farther and farther, but the inner call for integration with nature has never stopped. In fact, every weekend, about three or five friends, find a beautiful treasure, set up a tent on the grass or bare soil, and smell the fragrance of soil and green grass, you will suddenly feel a deep return and comfort.

Lingshan is a mountain-type natural scenic spot integrating nature reserve and natural landscape. At the top of Lingshan Mountain, known as the highest peak in Beijing, there is a large lawn where you can camp.

Highlight: camping at the top of Lingshan Mountain, the first peak in Beijing (the main peak is 2303 meters above sea level) is exciting and proud.

Experience: There is a lawn on the top of the mountain for camping. Looking west, it is far away from Xiaowutai Mountain. When you come, you can choose Xilongmenxi to cross Lingshan. Xixi is a wild Shan Ye water, and the journey is steeper and more difficult than Dongxi. Crossing and camping is exciting enough.

Tip: The wind on the mountain is very strong and cold. Use tents with good windproof performance, and pay special attention to safety when building them.

Driving route: drive from Fushi Road to Shijingshan, then go west, go north from Shuangyu roundabout in Mentougou District, take National Highway 109, and turn right at Shuangyu River to reach the scenic spot. There are lingshan scenic spot's guideposts.

Tianhuangshan scenic spot

Emperor Mountain Natural Scenic Area is located at the junction of Yanqing County and Huailai County in Hebei Province, which should be regarded as one of the best and most accessible campsites in the suburbs of Beijing. Emperor Mountain Scenic Area, also known as Wudaohu Grottoes, is located 30 kilometers east of Badaling Great Wall and only 1 km away from the famous Guyaju Caves Grottoes in Yanqing County, with a total area of 5 square kilometers.

Camp grotto site

Tickets for scenic spots in 20 yuan can be a little cheaper if there are many people, or you can go over mountains to enter the scenic spots, but it takes about two hours to walk by mountain road. About 30 minutes' walk from the entrance of the scenic spot, you can reach the site of Qingquan Temple. Qingquan Temple is actually a group of grottoes on the cliff. According to research, it was dug during the Northern Wei Dynasty. It is said that this place used to be the seat of the government, and later it was changed into a temple. I don't know when people have gone to the temple, but there are only large and small concave holes on the wall with beams and rafters. Now I can only imagine the glory of cornices, arches and carved beams and painted buildings out of thin air.

Usually the campsite is located in the original hall, because it is located at the top of the grottoes, with excellent vision and good air circulation. About five or six tents can be set up, and the tents can be arranged inside. On the one hand, there are remnants of grottoes to shelter from the wind and rain, on the other hand, enough space can be left for people to move around 10. There is no special requirement for waterproof and wind-resistant performance of tents during camping in Emperor Mountain. However, because the camp is set up on hard ground, tents that can stand on their own feet are needed, and tents that cannot stand on their own feet, such as tunnel tents, are about to pass.

Of course, if you are interested, there are many ready-made stone beds and stone houses here. Theoretically, you can stay in bed. At night, this place is a good place to see the moon and stars. After cleaning up the camp, you can go to Wuyun Cave in Houshan, where there is a large-scale ancient cave group with bedrooms, kitchens, halls and cloisters.

There is also a clear spring at the entrance to the grottoes, which can be used in all seasons. However, considering hygiene factors, it is recommended to boil or at least filter with a water purifier before drinking. Because the spring water is not very mobile, please use it as far away from the spring water as possible to avoid polluting the water source.

In fact, camping is more than just a place to sleep. One of its pleasures is picnicking. In the cave camp of Emperor Mountain, you can not only enjoy the delicious food at home, but also enjoy things that are inconvenient to cook at home, such as barbecue. While basking in the sun outside the main hall, I made myself a pot of green tea and cooked meat around the stove. If you bring an oven and an iron plate, then all kinds of barbecues and teppanyaki are not a problem.

Travel tips

Self-driving: Take the Badaling Expressway Yanqing County Exit to Shi Jinglong Ski Resort. Not far from the ski resort, there is a road sign that says "Guyaju Cave" and turn right to enter. Turn left at the entrance of Guyaju Cave and cross the hometown of America.

Sleep in the west estuary

Xiaowutai Mountain Xijin River Mouth Scenic Area

Xiaowutaishan Forest Park, located in Yuxian County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is the most famous outdoor resort around Beijing. There are beautiful scenery in the reserve, many hiking routes with different difficulties and many very suitable campsites. The two camps in Xijin River Mouth Scenic Area are the easiest to reach. The nearest one is near Tallinn, and it takes about 1 hour to walk from the entrance of the scenic spot. However, due to the reconstruction of Jinhe Temple in recent years, there are many people and chaos. It is suggested to camp at 1500 (named after the altitude of about 1500m). It is flat and open, close to the water source, and there are few tourists coming and going, which is very suitable for camping. If you carry a lot of materials, you can hire a donkey to carry a backpack at the mouth of Xijin River.

After you settle down in the campsite, you can look around. Xiaowutai Mountain is also a famous Buddhist shrine in the north. As early as the Tang Dynasty, monks gathered here. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, a large number of Buddhist temples were rebuilt and built. Although they were destroyed by historical vicissitudes, their cultural charm still exists.

Travel tips

Self-driving: Take Badaling Expressway to Jimingyi Exit, cross Zhuolu, and take National Highway 109 to Taohua Town. After crossing Taohua Town, continue to drive westward for about 26 kilometers, turn left at Xihejing and leave the National Highway 109, go to 207 national highway, drive southward for about 3 kilometers, turn left at Xia Yuan, leave 207 national highway, drive eastward for 18 kilometers, and reach the Xijin estuary.

Bus: There are long-distance buses from Beijing to Yuxian at Xizhimen and Qijiahuozi Bus Stations, and get off at Taohua Town. Ticket price 33 yuan/person. Then sublet Santiao or Mian to Chiyabao or Xijin Estuary Management Station.

Zhazhai on the edge of Youzhou village

Youzhou Gorge is a good place for camping around Beijing.

Youzhou Gorge is located in Hebei Province, also known as Guanting Gorge and Yongding Gorge. It starts from Guanting Reservoir Dam in the north and reaches Yanhe City in Mentougou District in the south. Mountains stand on both sides of the canyon, and huge rocks have naturally weathered. At the bottom of the canyon is the swift Yongding River.

Youzhou Canyon used to be an important northwest passage to Beijing, and the once prosperous official road is now very quiet. You can see the wider river beach in the canyon. The terrain is gentle and the river is clear, which is very suitable for camping, picnics and bonfire parties. There are many places to camp here, and donkey friends usually choose to camp in the Woods near Youzhou Village. It's on the road from Laozhuangwo to Yanhe City. It's very easy to find. Because it is not far from Youzhou Village, you can go to the village to buy some drinks, water and food if necessary, but the choice is limited.

In particular, the river in Youzhou Gorge is the upper reaches of Yongding River, which is connected with Guanting Reservoir. There will be two discharges at noon and at night every day, when the water level will rise significantly. So pay special attention to safety when playing by the river. There is an insect called horsefly nearby, which hurts and is red and swollen when bitten. If you go in summer, you must pay attention to carrying insect repellent and antipruritic drugs.

There are more than 100 families in Youzhou village, and the houses in the village still maintain the old style, which is worth seeing. Local residents mainly raise sheep and plant fruit trees. Especially in autumn, it is a good place to pick red dates.

Youzhou Canyon is also one of the classic main hiking routes around Beijing. Of course, if you don't want to hike, it is also a good choice to go camping near Youzhou Village directly. Yanhe City is about15km away from Youzhou, which is the fortress guarding Yongding River Canyon in Ming Dynasty. Cities along the river are about 1 1,000 square meters. There are still intact city walls and west tower. The house in the yard and the old gatehouse are exquisite. There are three well-preserved enemy platforms along the river outside the city, guarding the exit of the western Yangou.

Travel tips

Self-driving: Take National Highway 109. There is a road sign about 80 kilometers away from Beijing, which indicates "Pearl Lake Scenic Area". Turn right and enter. It takes about 14km to reach Yanhecheng Village. After arriving at Yanhecheng Railway Station, cross Yanhe Mountain Road and go straight for about 15km. When I saw a jujube garden, I arrived at Youzhou Village.

Bus: Take the 44 15 train at Beijing Railway Station and get off at Jiuzhuangwo Station. It takes 2 hours 2 1 minute. Ticket price, 8 yuan. Then walk from the old village nest for about 3 hours to a secluded place.

Zhoucun, you can get on the bus at Laozhuangwo or Yanhecheng Station for the return journey. The journey takes 2 hours, and the fare is 7 yuan. In most cases, there will be temporary parking through Youzhou Village Station, and you can get off at Youzhou Village Station directly.

Camping equipment and matters needing attention

equipment

Tent: The most important equipment for camping is a tent. Generally, the requirements for tents in spring, summer and autumn are not high, and double-decker tents can meet the requirements. However, when choosing a tent, we should pay attention to several points: First, it is waterproof, and it is inevitable to encounter wind and rain when going out. Therefore, when choosing a tent, we must pay attention to the waterproof performance of the outer fabric of the tent, and all the joints should be glued and waterproof.

Followed by space and weight. Generally speaking, in order to be comfortable, you can choose a tent with a large space, but if you need to walk a distance to the camp, you should consider whether the weight of the tent can bear it. Of course, there is no such restriction in camps where cars can go directly.

Sleeping mat: If you have a home, you have to have a bed. Sleeping mats, also called moistureproof mats, are mainly used for moisture insulation and heat preservation. There are three kinds of common sleeping mats: foam mats, which are usually made of EVAPE physical foam materials, are light in weight, cheap and not easy to be damaged, but have the disadvantage of relatively large volume and average sleeping comfort; Inflatable cushions, commonly called air beds and air cushions, have the advantages of good comfort and small storage volume, but they have the disadvantages of heavy weight, poor thermal insulation and easy puncture. Self-inflating cushion is actually filled with foam material in the middle of the air cushion, and the effect of "self-inflating" is realized by using the resilience of foam material. Of course, it takes a few more breaths to fully fill it. Self-inflating cushions have the advantages of light weight, good comfort and small storage volume, but the price is relatively high.

Sleeping bag: As the name implies, it is a sleeping bag. According to the different thermal insulation materials, there are generally two kinds of down and fiber cotton. Feather sleeping bag is light in weight, good in thermal insulation and small in compression volume, but it is expensive, difficult to maintain and will not keep warm once it is wet. Fiber cotton sleeping bags are just the opposite. You can choose according to your own needs.

point out

Safety: In order to ensure the safety of camping in the wild, you must carry the following items with you: lighting tools (headlights or small flashlights, remember that you will always walk at night), extra emergency food and water, tools (whistles, small mirrors, etc.). ) used to send out distress signals, necessary medicines and bandages, a light raincoat or a big plastic bag.

Environmental protection: attention should be paid to the protection of the camp environment, that is, "Levin Notres". Master several principles: prepare in advance, walk and camp on tolerant ground, properly dispose of waste, leave behind what you find, minimize the impact of campfires, respect wildlife and take care of other tourists.
