What documents do I need to travel to Hong Kong?
Personal Travel Endorsement (G) is issued to the applicant for personal travel to Hong Kong or Macao. There are four kinds of endorsements: once every three months, twice every three months, 1 year and 1 year, and each stay in Hong Kong or Macau shall not exceed 7 days.
I. Application procedures
1. Accepting organ: the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ of the county (district) where the household registration is located.
2. Submit the completed Application Form for Mainland Residents' Travel Permit to Hong Kong and Macao 1 copy (filled in with pen or signature pen, not ballpoint pen), and print the receipt and 1 digital optical photo with the photo studio.
3. Submit the original ID card and household registration book (the applicant is under the age of 16, just submit the household registration book; Soldiers only need to submit proof of identity and a copy.
4. Hold a valid travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and submit a travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao.
5. Persons who have been notified by the public security department to leave the country for the record shall submit their opinions according to the cadre management authority when handling travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao and personal travel endorsements. Other personnel do not need to submit the opinions of the unit or the police station.
Second, the processing time limit
First application for travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao and endorsement: 15 working days;
Re-apply for endorsement: 10 working days.
Third, the relevant provisions
1. With a personal travel endorsement, you can leave the country for Hong Kong and Macao with your personal certificate within the validity period without joining a tour group.
2. Those who apply for personal travel endorsement to Hong Kong and Macao must strictly abide by the Exit and Entry Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and relevant laws of Hong Kong and Macao. Those who violate the above laws will be investigated and punished according to law. 3. When mainland residents leave Shenzhen or Zhuhai port with Hong Kong and Macao Pass, they can apply to Shenzhen or Zhuhai Entry-Exit Visa Office of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Bureau for the same endorsement if they find that the endorsement information on the certificate is wrong.
4. Mainland residents who have lost or damaged their passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao can apply for entry and exit passes to the Shenzhen or Zhuhai Entry and Exit Visa Office of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Bureau to return to the Mainland through China travel agencies in Hong Kong or Macau.
5. Special note: Applicants shall not hold two or more valid passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao at the same time, nor shall they hold two or more valid endorsements to the same destination at the same time. When applying for endorsement, you must ensure that the validity of your travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao exceeds the validity of the endorsement you apply for for for more than 20 days.
