The first time I set foot on the road in Jiangnan, the wet road surface and moss have grown regardless of the season. I took a breath and saw the fresh air. This is the unique atmosphere of Jiangnan. I couldn't help but close my eyes and use my sense of smell and hearing to feel this special place and appreciate the strong cultural atmosphere here.

I couldn't help but turn to a quiet and deep alley. There were several houses, but the windows were closed, and the doors were red painted with carved patterns. Looking up this alley, the sky is stretched into a thin line. There must be a group of lively children passing by on this alley, running and jumping, going to and from school... As I walked along the way back and forth, the shrill sound of the pipa caught my soul. Along the way, I was thinking about what happened in Jiangnan. It seemed to be destined or a coincidence. I couldn't tell. Born in a big city, it was the first time for me to see such a simple place and feel such poignant emotions. This is the only time in my life that I read this place with a dull feeling. Jiangnan’s scenery, Jiangnan’s objects or Jiangnan’s people are all the most primitive humanistic heritage.

With these emotions in mind, I reluctantly left this place with a strong cultural atmosphere.

Visiting Mogan Mountain

On the morning of January 15th, the weather was really nice, with white clouds floating in the blue sky. I traveled to Mogan Mountain in Hangzhou with my father and colleagues from my father’s workplace.

I first came to the place where Chairman Mao stayed. I saw that it was surrounded by woods and there were no other houses. It was a very quiet place. When I entered, I saw that there was an iron bed where Chairman Mao had rested, a wooden table where he had eaten, and a chair where he had sat. Then, I came to Chiang Kai-shek's interim president's official residence: there were many villas on the left and right, tall trees in front of the door, and a deep ravine in the distance. Entering Chiang Kai-shek's interim president's official residence, I found that the furnishings in the room were very ordinary, including tables, chairs and beds.

Following the tour guide, I came to the stone wall engraved with the word "Cui": the word "Cui" is 12 meters high and 5 meters wide; opposite the word "Cui" there is a pavilion with three sides. The water in the lotus pond is very clear, and the lotus flowers are in bud. I finally understood the meaning of the word "Cui": Most of the mountains in Moganshan are green moso bamboos, which look very green, quiet and cool.

Finally, I passed the Qingliang Pavilion in the middle of the mountain and came to Jianchi Scenic Area. I first saw two statues, one male and one female. The male was called Gan Jiang and the female was named Moye. Legend has it that the two of them used to practice swordsmanship here. To commemorate them, the mountain was called Mogan Mountain. I continued walking down and saw the sword pool. The sword pool is a medium-sized pool. The sword pool is used for quenching sword practice. There is also a small waterfall above the sword pool. The scenery of Jianchi deeply attracted me. No wonder all the staff of my father’s unit took a group photo here.

Ah, although it is my second time to come to Mogan Mountain, it is still the "first time" to see these scenery. It is so beautiful! The first time I came to Moganshan was five years ago with my mother. I can no longer recall what I saw and heard at that time. I thought: "It's a pity that I only stayed one night in the mountains this time. It would be great if I could stay for a week!"

April 30: Decide on the route

Wow! The May Day holiday is coming soon. I really want to go on a trip. Where can I go? I thought about it, "There is heaven above, and Suzhou and Hangzhou below." Yes, it's heaven - Suzhou and Hangzhou.

May 1: The beautiful scenery of Suzhou

Today, I got up early, ate something, and went to the bus station with my father and mother to take the bus. When we arrived at the bus station, I was very excited, my heart beat faster, and I couldn't control myself. Just like that, we arrived in Suzhou.

Our first target is Suzhou’s shopping paradise—Guanqian Street. There are huge crowds of people here, and the flow of people is like a tide. There were so many shops in the store, and I was dazzled by the products. They were all exquisite products. After a while, I came to the bookstore. Needless to say, all I bought were science and technology books!

Coming out of Guanqian Street, we turned a corner and arrived at Yiyuan. As soon as we entered the gate, we saw a pavilion, where we rested for a while. After passing a lobby, you arrive at the Jade Emperor Hall. It is said that only one table of guests can be invited here to enjoy the emperor's lunch every day. After walking through the hall, we came to the theater hall. We listened to music and ate Suzhou's special snacks-five-spice beans, dried tofu, etc., which was very comfortable.

After leaving Yiyuan, we took a taxi to Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park. The lake here is rippling and a car show is being held! Cars include cars, trucks, vans and other models, with brands such as Shanghai Volkswagen, Japan's Toyota, and Germany's Mercedes-Benz. Looking down from a high place, cars almost surround Jinji Lake! Looking further ahead, densely packed cars lead all the way to the pier. Bending down, I saw the rippling blue water of the lake twinkling in the sunlight, which was very beautiful. ah! It’s so beautiful here!

May 2: One-day trip to Suzhou Amusement Park

There is a famous saying in Suzhou: "Disney is too far, go to Suzhou Amusement Park!" Today, our wish will come true.

At around 8 o'clock in the morning, we were already outside the gate of Suzhou Paradise. The gate is made of iron, with the four characters of Suzhou Paradise and two lions painted on it, which means that this is a lion mountain, and it seems to be welcoming people. As soon as you enter the gate, there is a fountain, which is lifelike. We first came to the 4D theater, "Ah! There are snakes, it's so scary!" I screamed. After leaving the theater, we played Tianya Fishing Village, Jungle Chariot, Flying Island, Future Bridge and other projects. The most unforgettable thing for me was the flying saucer adventure. We were standing on a movable floor, and the 2003 Tour de France was shown on the big screens around us. The floor was moving up and down, as if we were participating in the Tour de France. It was very interesting. An immersive feeling.

May 3: West Lake and Sudi in the Rain - Text Supplement

In the morning, we got on the luxury bus and headed straight to Hangzhou. Hey! Arrived in two hours.

Do you still remember the text "West Lake"? The three islands of West Lake are introduced in the text, but West Lake and Su Causeway in the rain have not been introduced yet! Let me add it this time!

The weather in Hangzhou was fine in the morning, but I was so hot that I was sweating profusely when I climbed the Leifeng Pagoda. But in the afternoon, it began to rain heavily, and I was so cold that I shivered all over. At that time, we were on Su Causeway and there was no place to take shelter from the rain. Even the toilets were crowded with people. We had no choice but to hide under the big tree with umbrellas. Seeing that Yue's grave was approaching, the rain was so heavy that we could not walk. After a burst of rain, the rain subsided and we quickly came to Dongpu Bridge. But it rained heavily again, so we hurriedly hid in a pavilion. In this way, stopping and walking, we finally walked out of Su Causeway.

May 4th: Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak

Early this morning, we went to Feilai Peak.

As soon as we entered the gate, we saw a hole and many people squeezed in. When we entered the cave and took a look, everyone was looking up. It turned out that this was the so-called "line of sky". I looked up in the direction pointed by others, and sure enough I saw a glimmer of light. It was truly a "line of sky". There are many Buddha statues on the mountain wall, and Feilai Peak is known as the "Second Thousand Buddha Cave". After passing several mountain forks, we reached the peak. I was the first in our group to reach the top. I cheered from the top of the mountain: Ah! Success! Reached the top!

After descending the mountain, we came to Lingyin Temple. There are many buildings here. What I am particularly interested in are the 500 Arhats. They are in various shapes and forms. I really want to take pictures of them one by one and study them carefully. Lingyin Temple was full of people burning incense and worshiping Buddha. Under the guidance of my mother, I also worshiped several big Buddhas and prayed for the happiness of the whole family.

After returning home, I heard that grandma’s shoulder pain no longer hurts. Do you think it works?
