Nongla - a model of rocky desertification control in Guangxi, was approved to be established as an autonomous region-level ecological nature reserve in 2008. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, with continuous peaks and forests, it has well-preserved forest vegetation and abundant wild medicinal species in the limestone area. The natural ecological environment makes this place present a beautiful picture of "a lost paradise surrounded by thousands of green mountains and embraced by the boundless green sea" all year round.
