Repairing the elevator in Dashan, how lazy can contemporary young people be to travel?

There is a joke on the Internet, "Tile the Great Wall, set Phnom Penh on the equator, install reverse gears on the plane, install elevators on the mountains, install switches on the sun, and install railings on the Yellow River!" These projects are huge, and no one will think that one of them will be realized.

Now, the project of installing elevators for Dashan has won the bid:

Figure (right) | Baligou Sightseeing Elevator, 168 meters high, 90 seconds to the top.

Figure (left) | Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area opened the mountain tunnel elevator, with a running length of 897 meters and a lifting height of 340 meters. It runs from the bottom of Tianmen Cave to the top of the mountain, with a running span of 692 meters. There are 30-meter-high bus escalators 16 sets, and 3 20-meter-high bus escalators, with a cost of more than 60 million yuan.

China built elevators for cliffs, precipices, steep slopes and even deserts. Seeing this, they have to feel the strength of China's infrastructure. Some people dare to mention this kind of project, others dare to take it, and even have already built it. These mountain elevators even surpass the scenic spots and become scenic spots.

Although I can't understand this kind of project, where is the fun of mountaineering? For young people who "get out of bed far away", they have already walked to the foot of the big mountain. Why can't they try to climb up? Therefore, I, a mouth gun patient, was still ruthlessly hit by reality. I spoke on the internet about how fierce I was, and when I arrived at the scene, I cherished my feathers and took the elevator. As can be seen from the picture below, the contrast is too obvious.

Therefore, more and more scenic spots are building mountaineering elevators. For scenic spots, first of all, we should meet the diverse needs of tourists, build elevators in the core scenic spots, reduce the climbing time, and use elevators that love to climb and do not want to climb directly to serve those in need, such as the elderly and disabled children, so that they can enjoy the scenery on the top of the mountain. Secondly, although this is a huge investment, there are many places. A realistic problem is that due to the lag of infrastructure, popular scenic spots can only be restricted every time they face the peak of tourism, while some trails are narrow, steep and rugged, becoming the biggest shortcomings of scenic spots. And if the elevator is set, the transportation capacity of the scenic spot can be greatly improved. For example, after the completion of the cross-mountain escalator in Tianmen Mountain, it has a one-way transportation capacity of 3,600 people per hour. Another example is the desert escalator in Shapotou Scenic Area, which can carry 9000 passengers per hour.

Is it worthwhile to build these elevators in the scenic spot?

But after all, the mountain elevator has invested a lot. When can I return it? Judging from the elevators built in the early days, some have become money-making machines, and some have no return on investment in the foreseeable future.

Liuzhou Maanshan shaft elevator invested 49 million yuan-ticket 20 yuan.

Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain invested 60 million yuan to cross the escalator-ticket to 32 yuan.

The investment of Zhangjiajie Bailong Sightseeing Elevator is 65.438+0.8 billion yuan-the ticket to 72 yuan is 654.38+0.44 yuan.

For example, Bailong Elevator has transported more than 40 million passengers this year. According to this fare, it has returned to the original price, and the tickets have been sold for 5.76 billion yuan, which is the comparative value of this elevator maintenance. However, Bailong Elevator is a super network celebrity after all, and everyone who goes will punch in. But like Ma 'anshan Elevator, its scenic spot is not a network celebrity, and the mountain is not high. Perhaps only the tourists around are willing to punch in, so it will take a long time to look back at the capital.

In addition to scenic spots and tourists, the cost of these super projects is also related to the type of elevator. For example, there are three kinds of mountain elevators on the market at present: sightseeing elevator (outside the mountain), cave elevator/shaft elevator (inside the mountain), mountain-crossing escalator/winding escalator (on the hillside or inside the mountain). In terms of construction difficulty, the tunnel elevator is the most complicated (the main sightseeing structure is still in the mountains). Tunnel structure is to drill a shaft from the top of the mountain to the bottom of the mountain, and then drill a tunnel from the bottom of the shaft. The tunnel elevator adopts vertical shaft engineering, and the main construction techniques include tunnel excavation, initial support and concrete lining. Although the process is simple, the requirements for the construction process are strict. For example, a shaft with a well depth of 133 meters takes less than 1 minute by elevator, but it takes workers 12 months. Escalators should follow the mountain structure, adjust measures to local conditions, and do not damage the geological structure and environment on both sides.

From the cost point of view, because the difficulty of different projects in the mountain is different, there are not many projects that disclose the cost. We can still see that sightseeing elevators have the highest cost and escalators have the lowest cost. Before Tianmenshan changed the elevator design scheme, it changed from the original shaft elevator to escalator, and the original shaft elevator needed to invest 65.438+0.3 billion yuan, while the current inclined shaft elevator only needed more than 60 million yuan.

Zhangjiajie Bailong Sightseeing Elevator is 326 meters high, and the cost per meter is 65.438+0.8 billion yuan-550,000 yuan.

Ma 'anshan cave-type shaft elevator is173m high, and the cost is 49 million yuan-280,000 yuan per meter.

The length of the desert escalator in Shapotou Scenic Area is160m, and the cost is1200,000 yuan (unilateral)-75,000 yuan per meter.

The Tianmenshan escalator in Zhangjiajie is 897 meters long, and the cost per meter is 60 million to 66,800 yuan.

Note: Project cost per meter of different elevators: sightseeing elevator > shaft elevator > escalator.

However, escalators have some obvious disadvantages, such as high maintenance cost, especially outdoor elevators. Outdoor escalators will increase the cost of anticorrosion, waterproof, dustproof and some materials, which is about 20% higher than indoor escalators. Practice has proved that the service life of indoor escalators is about 10 year, while outdoor escalators can only be used for 6 years or even less. Therefore, it is suggested that indoor escalators should be equipped with protective sheds, and according to the national elevator special equipment inspection requirements, the escalators should be maintained every 15 days, including cleaning, adjustment, oiling and lubrication. Built on the hillside itself, it is easy to encounter bad weather such as sandstorm and rainstorm, and even a little sand and stone may cause work stoppage, such as the desert escalator in Shapotou Scenic Area and the elevator built in the desert. I don't know how many days I can stop a year!

Mountain elevator design "has its own advantages and disadvantages"

So when determining the design scheme of mountain elevators, each elevator has its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, if you build an elevator on a cliff, you will definitely choose a sightseeing elevator, but the construction cost is high and the construction is difficult. If you build an elevator on a mountain that is not too high, you can choose to build a shaft or escalator. The shaft construction is difficult, the escalator cost is high, but the later maintenance cost is high. However, after the mountain exceeds a certain height, you can only choose to build an escalator.

In a word, although modern people are lazy and glorious, otherwise, there are so many super projects, but the elevator on the mountain is not built for architecture, let alone a face project, but it is really necessary. After all, the huge return on investment is endless. Improper construction will destroy the landscape environment, and the mountain structure will be damaged, and one party will suffer.
