Three certificates are required for traveling abroad.

Generally speaking, there are three kinds of necessary documents:

1. Passport

Passport is an "identity card" after going abroad, which proves that you are a citizen of China. If you encounter unexpected situations abroad, China's embassies abroad will come forward to protect you and solve your difficulties. When you are abroad, it is the second most important thing besides your life.

Generally speaking, when traveling abroad, the public security department will issue a one-time passport. When you join a tour group abroad, the travel agency will send you an "application form". You just need to fill out this "application form" and the travel agency will handle your passport. After filling in the "application form", I will give my work permit, household registration book, a copy of my ID card and five two-inch half-length photos to the travel agency, which will take them to apply for a passport.

2. Visa

If a passport is a "passport" to go abroad, then a visa is an "entry permit" issued to you by the country and region you are going to. This permit is a seal on the page number printed with the word "VISA" in your passport book. If you travel in a travel agency, the travel agency will apply for a visa with your passport to the embassies and consulates of relevant countries and regions.

3. International Vaccination Certificate and International Travel Health Certificate

In addition to your passport and visa, you should apply for a health certificate from the local quarantine department and receive relevant vaccination. There are special local health and quarantine bureaus in all cities. Two weeks before you go abroad, you should go to the Quarantine Bureau to apply for a physical examination. Generally, when you apply, you should hand in two 2-inch busts, fill out an "Application Form", and indicate whether you want the certificate valid for half a year or one year, and pay the fee. After the formalities are cleared, you can receive a health examination and apply for vaccination at the same time. There are two main kinds of vaccination, cholera and yellow fever. Cholera vaccination is valid for 6 months, and yellow fever vaccination is valid for 1 years. After the health examination and vaccination are completed, the quarantine bureau will inform you to collect evidence in a week or 1 days. If you want to get the certificate quickly, you have to pay an "expedited fee". The above two documents are universal in the world, especially the vaccination certificate, which is called "Huang Ka". It is a valid document when traveling internationally. When you go abroad, the security department will ask you to provide these two certificates. If you forget this procedure in China, the security department at the airport will arrange for you to have a check-up and issue you a replacement card. Although there is some trouble, it is better to get the above documents as soon as possible for your own health.
