Traffic and route recommendation in Kyoto and Nara
Mode of transportation between Kyoto and Nara:
There are only two routes from Kyoto to Nara: JR and Kintetsu.
One, JR road:
JR site in Kyoto, when you go to Nara, you leave from Kyoto station.
JR stations that Naraichi may use: JR Nara Station and JR Horyuji Station (Horyuji).
Kyoto station -Jr Nara station, 45 minutes, direct, 7 10 yen.
Kyoto Station-JR Horyuji Station, 70 minutes, change at JR Nara Station once, 970 yen.
B, close to the railway:
When Kyoto near the railway station goes to Nara, it starts from Kyoto Station.
Railway stations near Naraichi: nearby railway Nara Station (Nara Park, Dongda Temple, Chunri Dashe) and Xijing Station (Tangzhaoti Temple, Yagu Temple).
Kyoto station-near Nara railway station, 45-50 minutes, you can transfer directly, 620 yen.
Kyoto station-Xijing station, 50 minutes, direct to 620 yen.
There is little difference in price between JR and Kintetsu. It is highly recommended to go to Nara, and try to choose the near railway line, unless you want the first stop to go straight to Horyuji as soon as possible, or there is a Jr.
PASS is an exception. The reason is that, besides it is more convenient for Horyuji to take JR, JR Nara Station is much farther away from the scenic spots in Nara than Nara Station. Get off at Nara Station near the railway, and you can walk to Nara Park. Get off at Xijing Station and walk to Tangzhaoti Temple. However, JR Nara Station has to walk a lot to get to these places, or it is not convenient or cost-effective to take a bus again.
Transportation in Naraichi: In addition to the above subway and JR lines that can connect the main attractions in Nara, as well as short-distance transportation in the city, you can also use the bus lines in Nara. This mode of transportation is suitable for the tourists with inconvenient legs and feet, and the transportation supplement between the three areas (Nara Park, Tangzhaoti Temple and Horyuji District). The single bus in Naraichi is 2 10 yen.
Recommended Route A, Horyuji+Tangzhaoti Temple+Nara Park:
It takes 8- 10 hours to play in all three districts, including the travel time. That is, from morning till night. However, it should be noted that the opening hours of the temple are limited by time, so if you really play like this, you may not be able to visit the temple in the last area. Therefore, tourists who choose this route are advised to check the opening hours of scenic spots, the timetable of traffic routes and other related information in advance, and play on time as planned.
B. Tangzhaoti Temple+Nara Park:
It is not a big problem to play in these two areas. I took this route myself at the beginning, and basically I can finish it in 6-7 hours. Although it is also a day plan from morning till night, it is relatively suitable and comfortable.
C. A large area of Nara Park:
Many people only reserve most of their time in Nara, or like the atmosphere of Nara Park's generation, so they only play the scenic spots in this main area. This route is easy to control in time and takes most of the time.
