My heart remains unchanged in the history of Guangdong pop music.

Five years. Over 1800 days. I am in pain and happy.

All this is because of a collective memory that cannot be erased and tampered with.

All this is due to the hard course of Guangdong pop music history.

Eight years wish, five years cold window, once in Fu Zi.

Now, my dream has come true. I am relieved and deeply moved.

one

In the early 1990s, I became a professional editor and journalist from an amateur author, and wrote many articles on culture, entertainment and music. In the new century, due to the change of working environment, although I don't have to live a life of gathering and writing as before, I still deal with words. In my spare time, I joined the ranks of writing books, and in a few years, I also published some irrelevant books. In these two or three years, I have sorted out my manuscripts about pop music in recent years, and I plan to collect some Guangdong pop music, Guangdong musicians or Guangdong singer realism. Although some achievements have been made in contact with some publishing houses, they are not very mature.

June 2003 65438+1October 65438+May is an unforgettable day for me.

On this day, Yang Liwei, a space hero, traveled in the Shenzhou 5.

This day is also the day when I made up my mind to write a book about the history of Guangdong pop music.

The day before-10, 14, was the anniversary of the liberation of Guangzhou and the birthday of a friend in the film and television circle. Friends are inevitably eaten by karaoke. The next afternoon, we met in the coffee shop of Tianhe Building in Guangzhou to continue tea gathering and listen to its plan. In the meantime, I suddenly heard several familiar voices. It turns out that Chen Xiaoqi, Chen Jieming, Li Guangping and Li Xiaobing, heads of Guangdong Pop Music Association, are having a small meeting to discuss big plans.

These guys are very concerned about my recent situation. Mr. Li Guangping also talked about seeing some of my books in the book shopping center. They also said that the society urgently needs to edit and publish books about Guangdong pop music, because there has been no systematic summary of Guangdong pop music. So, I volunteered to write the History of Guangdong Pop Music, and Mr. Li Guangping was in charge of the 300 Guangdong Pop Music Works and other books. At present, the five of us have discussed the general contents of the history of Guangdong pop music and preliminarily divided the development stages of Guangdong pop music.

At that time, the requirement of the society was to produce the first draft in 20 days, but because this fact was unprecedented and there was no ready-made, the difficulty began to appear. As a result, it took me half a month to list the outline of the manuscript. At that time, no one raised any objections to this outline. So, I began to interview, collect and sort out information and put myself into writing.

two

5438+20041early October, at the symposium held by the Propaganda Department of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, the person in charge of the Society talked about the writing of Guangdong Pop Music History and 300 Guangdong pop music works, and the matter was made public.

At first, I thought this historical manuscript would be "unforgettable" in three to five months. The research on the history of Guangdong pop music has always been blank, and the available materials are really rare. Interview, go to the library to check the information, because of the lack of information, coupled with official and private affairs, the writing of historical manuscripts can only be intermittent.

I volunteered to write the history of Guangdong pop music, because I have an inseparable complex with pop music, but it is really hard work. In the dead of night, whenever I look at those familiar words, I always think of my past events related to pop music.

Because of pop music, I have become the "Yangcheng Tale" in the mouth of radio hosts around the world, the "frontline reporter" in the eyes of my peers around the world, and the "big shot" in the hearts of singers around the world.

I almost became a "defendant" several times because of pop music. ...

Over the years, I have become good friends with many Cantonese singers. When I was an amateur writer, I became the first person to interview Zhu Zheqin, who would become an international superstar in the future. I have reported on the growth of Zhu Zheqin in Yangcheng Evening News, Nanfeng Literature and Art Newspaper, Guangzhou Daily, Guangdong TV Weekly and on the stage and screen. On one occasion, the unit engaged in party activities and took Zhu Zheqin to a benefit performance. As a result, due to the problem of voice and accompaniment, she made a fool of herself when she sang Smile in Guangzhou, and finally ended up in a cantata. This incident has made me feel guilty for many years.

I have established friendship with many Cantonese singers. Every time they have something exciting, they always give me the first tip-off. Many "exclusive reports" are obtained in this way. Several times, when the newspaper was out of the street, a reporter called: "How do you know this?"

I have become good friends with many Guangdong musicians. At that time, I had more contact with some musicians and singers and got first-hand information from them. And my "black and white" and "night owl" life began at that time. I can't forget when I went to Shanghai to interview the annual prize of the Oriental Billboard. Because I went to Shanghai from Hangzhou to attend the "Hangzhou Conference" at my own expense, the organizer didn't arrange accommodation, so Li Haiying, a Guangdong musician, let me sleep in his bed, but he insisted on sleeping on the hard floor. This incident has moved me for many years.

I have become good friends with many Guangdong journalists. I can't forget the time when I lived with Xin Haijin, Chen Danmiao and Gong. At that time, we collectively went to Hangzhou to attend the "Hangzhou Convention" meeting at our own expense, and then moved to Shanghai to cover the annual award of "Oriental Billboard". In Shaoxing, in order to save money, the four of us share a room and sleep on the floor. We won't forget it after many years.

I can't forget how many times I almost became a defendant. At that time, I was the first to write about the job-hopping of Guangdong singers Mao Ning, Zhou Yanhong, Lin Yilun and Gao Linsheng. One day, the boss of a record company called and said, "Wu Fusheng, I want to sue you! Why did you write that several of our singers jumped ship? " Another day, the boss of another audio-visual company called us two female editors to scold, using all swearing words because I wrote that several singers in their company resigned one after another. Later, I didn't know about it. For a long time, I was sad that my two daughters' families had become scapegoats for humiliation because of me.

I can't forget the scene in which West Dao Lang was continuously publicized on the Internet and was scolded by extreme opponents. At this time, I should have traveled to the beautiful Mekong River with my colleagues, but I gave up traveling and devoted myself to promoting "Western Dao Lang". As a result, it attracted abuse ...

I can't forget the scene that Yang and I were called "a nest of snakes and mice" by extreme opponents on the Internet because of the continuous promotion of "mice love rice". It's only been three months since I officially debuted, and "Mice Love Rice" represents Guangdong singers reappearing CCTV Spring Festival Evening ten years later, which is the greatest comfort to me.

All these are really the driving force to complete the history of Guangdong pop music in five years.

I know in my heart that the history of Guangdong pop music represents the joint efforts of several generations of Guangdong musicians, Guangdong singers and Guangdong media people. And the completion of a "Guangdong Pop Music History" is believed to be their same wish.

On June 5438+1early October, 2005, I wrote a monograph "Yang's Documentary", which was published by Guangzhou Publishing House and subsequently serialized by Guangzhou Daily. It's easy to write such a manuscript. In contrast, Yang's documentary "Mice Love Rice" is like American fast food, while the history of Guangdong pop music is an out-and-out Manchu-Chinese banquet.

In late May, I finally handed in the first draft of the History of Guangdong Pop Music, but the structure inside was mainly chronicles, and there were many chapters in the book, which were the first-hand information I interviewed and reported that year. It may be because it is not rigorous, but it failed. Can be said to be thoroughly remoulded. Therefore, Chen Xiaoqi, Chen Jieming, Li Guangping and Li Xiaobing made an operable outline for the history of Guangdong pop music, which made the direction clear and further increased the difficulty of writing. Mr. Chen Jieming joked, "Every topic in it is like every paper."

At this time, it is only three months before the first national congress of the China Musicians Association Pop Music Society held in Guangzhou in September. Everyone hopes I can catch up. Before that, there were also music colleges in Guangzhou who wanted to use the history of Guangdong pop music as a textbook for the social music department. As a result, I missed the opportunity to publish it twice in a row.

In the next two years, people always thought that I had given up writing, but I clearly remember that my reply message was: "Never give up!" " "

If so, two years have passed. On the eve of International Labor Day on May 1, 2007, I met Mr. Chen Jieming in Guangzhou Book Center. He talked to me about the arrangements for the 30th anniversary celebration of Guangdong pop music, and hoped that I could catch up with the past during the May Day Golden Week. As a result, it was at noon on June 16 that I rushed out the first draft of the first chapter.

Subsequently, my life was recorded in The Hundred People Talk about Guangdong Pop Music written by Mr. Zhu Ming. On the National Day of 2008, I received a short message from Lin Weiqiang, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Pop Music Association, urging me to submit photos. I obviously feel that the time for publication is coming.

Therefore, I also accelerated the process of Guangdong pop music history. As a result, I worked around the clock for nearly a month, and finally stayed up all night on 20 12124 October (the day of the award ceremony in Shenzhen), and finished the whole first draft of Guangdong Pop Music History. When I was a false alarm! I almost fell behind again, but fortunately I was able to catch up with the most important photo publishing plan of "The Sound of the Waves Still" in Guangdong to commemorate the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up.

On this day, I discovered the "fantastic theory" about pop music "born in Shenzhen, born in Guangzhou and raised in Beijing", so when I was writing, I also forwarded this "fantastic theory", which caused an uproar.

The feedback is: "Return the historical truth and declare the meaning of heaven and earth!"

2012165438+10.8, when Chen Ruijun, president of New Century Publishing House, and Wang Kaibo, assistant to the president, led Mr. Chen Xiaoqi, Dr. Chen Zhiqiang and I to the Maode Palace Cottage in Panyu to discuss "Dialogue between China Pop Music and Citizen Culture-Cottage", we decided to take the publication of the thirty-year series of Guangdong Pop Music as ".

The next month, I almost spent in "pain" By 20 13, nearly five years ago, I almost became an ascetic because I wrote the history of Guangdong pop music. In five years, I almost became an "archaeologist"; Five years later, I almost became an out-and-out "executioner" and personally cut off my hard work in the past five years from 20 13. The original number of words in Historical Manuscripts was close to 500,000 words, but due to the limitation of space, I had to reduce the length. During this period, I should have the opportunity to travel to Guilin, which is the best in the world, but the time is tight and the task is heavy. I gave up my trip again and closed myself up for a week.

On the morning of February 9th, 65438, Chen Xiaoqi, Chen Jieming and Liu Zhiwen, editors-in-chief of the series, Chen Ruijun, president of New Century Publishing House, and Wang Kaibo, assistant to the president, and I held a review meeting in New Century Publishing House, and made a "five-level review" on the history of Guangdong pop music. In a serious and responsible manner, everyone reviewed, revised and abridged the projection screen word by word. Collective memory, of course, is collective approval. As a result, the last chapter was written in the early morning of February 10, and everyone had been fighting all day and night.

This is the "Historical Records" of Guangdong pop music history.

Although the History of Guangdong Pop Music is not a masterpiece, it is indeed my painstaking work. Readers may ask: can it take five years like you? Have you been fooling around?

Yes, I am muddling along! I grind these historical manuscripts bit by bit. If it can be completed in March or May, it may not take us five years to complete this chore in the history of Guangdong pop music. I know it took Mr. Jin Zhaojun, a senior 10 years to write Popular in broad daylight-Experience China Pop Music.

In these five years, I know that there will be no pie in the sky. I had to run to the library honestly, check the bound volumes, interview, sort out, revise and supplement, especially looking for materials from the 1970s to the 1990s. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I accumulated it bit by bit. I have to discard the false and keep the true. In addition, the internet has not appeared in these years, and historical materials are really hard to find! In order to complete the history of Guangdong pop music, I don't know how many nights I stayed up, and I can't count how many times I ushered in "a fish-belly grey in the East".

In fact, "it would be great if I wrote this book!" " "But if you write history at this time, it will be a" Youth History "at most. Later, I learned that before the 20th Century Classic was held in 2000, it was at most a history of youth. In addition, by 20 13, great achievements have been made in the past five years, adding a heavy stroke to the history of Guangdong pop music.

Readers may find that in the history of Guangdong pop music, there are many words such as "national first" and "national first". Guangdong pop music scene has always been the "first good area" of China pop music scene. Guangdong musicians, Guangdong singers and Guangdong media people have worked silently for 30 years and created countless "firsts". This is the best answer to the wonderful theory of "born in Shenzhen, born in Guangzhou and raised in Beijing". No one can erase or tamper with the history of Guangdong pop music!

If anyone wants to be greedy for the merits of the world, no problem, then ask Guangdong pop musicians, Guangdong singers and Guangdong media people who dare to be the first in the world! Because they are not only the creators of this history, but also the witnesses of this history!

I always think that Guangdong pop music has long been the "first good area" of China pop music. The first good man has two meanings, one is the capital, and the other is the best place. When I input the initial pinyin of SSZQ with sogou input method, the words "Shoushan District" will appear. Coincidentally, before the "first good area", the first word was "the strongest in history"!

What a "first good area" and "the strongest in history", what an apt word to describe Guangdong pop music.

It turns out that my historical manuscript is quite detailed and can be described as comprehensive. However, from the perspective of limited space, I have to reluctantly delete nearly half of the content. Moreover, the nearly 20,000-word "memorabilia" originally prepared can only be reluctantly given up, but I believe that these "surplus values" will have their new sources, so it is right to sell them here!

Fortunately, the history of Guangdong pop music has changed from single-handedly to collective attack. If you haven't finished yet, you can find more exciting content through other books in the series of Thirty Years of Guangdong Pop Music. This set of nearly one million-word books, with theories, historical manuscripts, biographies and works, is the complete achievement of Guangdong pop music.

The launch of this series will be held in Guangzhou Book Center on February 28th, 2008. Ha ha! What a nice day! Doesn't this show the meaning of "discovery, development and hard work" in Guangdong pop music scene? Pray for Guangdong musicians, Guangdong singers and Guangdong media people to continue to paint rainbows in the southern starry sky in the future.

Sincerely thank Chen Ruijun, president of New Century Publishing House, and Wang Kaibo, assistant to the president, for their contributions to the publication of this series!

Thank you sincerely for providing precious materials and photos for the publication of the series! In the process of writing a book, I referred to many original materials scattered everywhere. Thanks for the slight beauty! )

I sincerely thank my family who have been silently supporting me for many years!

The history of Guangdong pop music is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of China's reform and opening up!

I want to dedicate the history of Guangdong pop music to those who have made efforts for Guangdong pop music!

People who love music always leave the wind and rain to themselves; People who love music always have broad feelings. When I finished the important task of "Guangdong pop music history", I thought of such a beautiful line in the series of activities of "Guangdong pop classic golden melody concert in the 20th century":

Spring and autumn changes, written wonderfully without regrets.

The light lasts forever, and the years are the most emotional.
