Ask the great gods to answer, thank you very much! What are the problems worthy of reflection in the development of tourism geography in China? Refer to relevant literature and talk about your opinion. Since 1978, the tourism geography of China has developed rapidly. However, there are also some problems such as weak theoretical and methodological research, narrow research scope, more repetitive work and slow improvement of the overall level. Reflecting on the development and existing problems of China tourism geography in the past 25 years from the following perspectives is beneficial to the future development of this discipline. (1) The relationship between academic research and applied practice. For more than 20 years, China's tourism geography has always been centered on serving the national economy, and its application value has been infinitely exaggerated, thus restricting the expansion and deepening of other studies. In fact, the study of tourism geography is not only an economic issue, but also needs to pay attention to social equity and environmental ethics. (2) The concept and goal of the research. It is necessary for China tourism geography to establish a new research concept and recognize its research position. Without introspection, self-doubt, criticism and innovation, its research contribution is very limited. (3) Research methods and achievements. Empirical research is a common method in the study of tourism geography in China in recent 25 years. But we can't use mathematics and quantitative methods as the only way to solve the problem. Moreover, low-level empirical research sometimes becomes a pile of worthless cases, wasting research resources and researchers' time and energy. There should be a new understanding of the research results: what is the real value of the results? What are the differences (not just gaps) between similar achievements at home and abroad? How to confirm and respect the intellectual property rights of this achievement? (4) Respond to crises and challenges. It is inappropriate to confuse the academic contribution of tourism geographers with the applied work such as planning and evaluation.
