Dunhuang road trip guide: The best season for Dunhuang travel in 2017

Dunhuang, located in Gansu Province, is a place full of rich historical charm. The historical relics here shock China and foreign countries. Friends who are more interested in Buddhism can come to visit and pay homage. Here I would like to share my 2017 road trip guide to Dunhuang.

Although I have gone to Qinghai Grand Ring Road many times now, this trip also has a story.

I was still a little sheep at that time. I didn’t understand anything in my second year of high school, and I met an old sheep with very deep tricks. As a girl from the south of the Yangtze River, I still yearn for the northwest style.

Then I said excitedly that Lao Yang is from the northwest:

“I’ve always wanted to go to Dunhuang!”

Lao Yang: “Although I haven’t gone either Yes, let’s go together next time~”

You let a yellow girl travel with you? We're not together yet! (Hmph! Frivolous)

But in the end, people who are destined to be together may end up together. Lao Ye fulfilled his promise and took me to the northwest. My wish came true.

D4 Visit Mogao Grottoes in the morning - rest and adjust - go to Mingsha Mountain - Crescent Moon Spring - Shazhou Night Market - Dunhuang in the evening at 5pm.

D5 Dunhuang-Guazhou-Jiayuguan (Jiayuguan attractions are optional)-Linze County-Colorful Danxia-Farmhouse accommodation at the entrance of Danxia Scenic Area.

D6-Biandukou Scenic Area-Qilian Scenery-Qilian Grassland-Arou Temple-Qilian Zhuoer Mountain-Qilian County Accommodation

D7 Qilian Mountain-Gangshika Snow Peak (far away Department) - Menyuan (recommended viewing of rapeseed flowers from early July to early August) - Black Spring Reservoir in Daban Mountain - Return to Xining

The 6th day does not include Qilian, and the 6th day returns to Xining from Zhangye.
