Recommendation of free scenic spots in Beijing ancient town

There are many popular tourist attractions in Beijing, and there are also many free ancient town attractions, all of which can be visited without leaving Beijing. The following small series recommends many free places for ancient towns, and interested friends can have a look!

1, Changyucheng There is an ancient city built in the Ming Dynasty in the northwest of Liucun Town, Changping District, called Changyucheng. There is a ridge in the north of it called Loess Xiling. On the ridge of loess Xiling at an altitude of 1400 meters, there is the Yan Great Wall built 2300 years ago, which is the highest Great Wall in Beijing. In the Ming Dynasty, Zhangyucheng, Zhenbian City and Baiyang City were also called Beijing Trilateral City, which was an important military place in ancient times. With dense vegetation and fresh air, it is known as "Little Tibet" in Beijing.

Every spring, the fragrance of flowers is endless. If it is summer, the fruit trees are lush, the sun is cool, the air is cool, and the average temperature is about 5℃ lower than that in the urban area. Autumn is the harvest season, and the local unique granular corn is sweet and never tires of eating it. Pick wild grapes, hazelnuts, walnuts, red fruits and begonia at will.

It snows in winter, and the snow in Nanshan lasts until the next year. The earth wrapped in silver is particularly enchanting, which makes people feel different.

Address: Liucun Town, Changping District, Beijing

Transportation: Take a bus to Changyu City, take Chang 33 bus and get off at Changyu City.

2. Yaoqiao Castle Yaoqiaoyu Village has a long history, which is 30 kilometers away from Beijing/KLOC-0 and 50 kilometers away from Miyun County. It is located in the east of Xinchengzi Town, Miyun District. It is bordered by mountains in the north and Andamu River in the south.

In early winter and early spring, this place needs a bridge to cross. Because of the instability of the bridge, it was named "Rocking Bridge", followed by the homophonic "Remote Bridge". Yaoqiaoyu Folk Village is the earliest village in Beijing to carry out folk tourism reception, which has played a leading and promoting role in the development of Beijing folk customs.

There is a castle built in the Ming Dynasty for border defense, named "Yaoqiao Fort", which has two doors, named Cheng, and there is only one door here, so it is called Bao. There are towers on the door in the middle of the south, and watchtowers on the four corners. Now the turret no longer exists, but the whole tower is well preserved.

Yaoqiao Castle was built in the 26th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty. This city is123m long from east to west,102m wide from north to south, with a wall height of 7m and a top width of 4m.

Yaoqiao Castle is well designed, fully equipped and strategically located. Usually, because of the hidden terrain, even enemy spies are hard to find. So it was of great strategic value at that time. There is a gate in the middle of the south, and the sons and daughters of the Ming border guards still live in the castle!

Address: Yunxiugu Hunting Natural Scenic Area, Xinchengzi Town, Miyun District, Beijing

Transportation: You can navigate Yaoqiaoyu Castle by driving or taking the Mi 39 bus and getting off at Yaoqiaoyu Station.

3. Yanqing District of Liugou Fenghuang Ancient City has a long history, leaving many ancient villages that have experienced vicissitudes. There is a well-known ancient city of Liugou Phoenix in Jingzhuang Town, which is located more than ten kilometers southeast of the county seat. According to historical research, the ancient city was once the place where troops were stationed in the late Ming Dynasty. The name "Phoenix" comes from the topographical features of Wengcheng. Standing on the hillside near the village overlooking the city, like a phoenix spreading its wings, the phoenix head is the shadow wall in front of the north gate.

Today, there are still ancient city walls, gates, ancient wells and other sites in the ancient city, as well as the ruins of the Great Wall faintly visible on the mountain.

The towering north gate is the representative of the ancient city. A large number of old city bricks collected by the people are used to repair the old city walls, making this basically intact city gate still extraordinary.

There is also an ancient well in the ancient city. It is said that the water pumped from the well is sweet and clear, and the tofu ordered with it is especially fresh and tender, and yellow oil will ooze from the surface, so the "well" and "tofu" in Liugou have become legends, and the "tofu feast" in Liugou is even more famous.

Address: Liugou Village, Jingzhuang Town, Yanqing District, Beijing

Transportation: Take a bus or get off at the intersection of y8 Road and Si Er, and you can get to the ancient city of Phoenix in Liugou.

4. Yongning Ancient City Yongning Ancient City is located at the east 18km of Yanqing District, Beijing. Its organizational system began in the Tang Dynasty, and Yongning County was set up at the foot of Tuanshan Mountain in the 12th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, taking the meaning of "its peace is eternal" in the Book of Songs.

Yongning, with Jade Emperor Pavilion, Ancient Street, Catholic Church and Ancient Temple, is the transportation hub in the eastern mountainous area of Yanqing, and now it is the seat of yongningzhen Municipal Government.

This is a small town full of nostalgia for history. When I come here, what I will definitely do is to buy some local specialties to go home. There are many shops selling specialty products on both sides of the street, with many varieties. Many friends from downtown often come here to "go to the market". It is particularly worth mentioning that the special fire spoon that can only be bought here is tender and crisp, with soft inner layer, delicious and cheap. Buy some and take them back, and the snacks will be gone.

Yongning's ancient streets have a long history. Especially in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the culture and economy here have been greatly developed. At that time, shops and businessmen were everywhere, and it was a commercial distribution center in Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Tianjin. There are hotels, inns and restaurants everywhere. Now walking on the street, you can still find some traces of that year, as if you had crossed the Ming and Qing Dynasties in an instant.

Address: Chi Chang Road, yongningzhen, Yanqing District, Beijing.

Transportation: You can drive to Yongning Ancient City and get off at Yongning by bus No.925.

5. Wanping Ancient City, which is the only well-preserved double-guard city in northern China. In order to defend the capital, Wu Jun, the eunuch of the Imperial Horse Prison, was appointed by the Ming Dynasty to preside over the construction of this city.

The city is divided into east and west gates, 640 meters long from north to south and 320 meters wide. The total area of the city is about 20 hectares, which prevents Li Zicheng from entering.

The ancient city of Wanping has been restored and rebuilt except for the bullet holes blasted by the Japanese invaders. 196 1 year, the State Council listed it as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units;

1984, the state allocated special funds to repair the city walls and east-west towers; 1987 is open to tourists. At the end of the 20th century, the Beijing Municipal Government decided to restore the original appearance of Wanping Ancient City in Ming and Qing Dynasties, including restoring asphalt roads to bluestone floors.

Wanping Ancient City utilizes the historical and cultural resources within its jurisdiction, and fully protects and utilizes them. The People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression Memorial Hall and the People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression Memorial Sculpture Garden were successively built. Wanping Lake, Xiaoyue Lake and Greenland Park have improved the living environment of residents, and the beautiful scenery of Xiaoyue in Lugou reappears. Wanping ancient city has formed a tourist attraction in southwest Beijing, which integrates history, culture, art and patriotism education.

Address: Chengnan Street, Fengtai District, Beijing

Transportation: You can go directly to the ancient city of Wanping by bus, and you can reach it by bus.

6. Yanhe City Yanhe City Great Wall is located in Mentougou District. The difference between the Great Wall of Yanhecheng and Badaling and Mutianyu is that there is almost no tourism development here, and everything remains the original historical appearance.

The ancient city still retains the ancient city wall, the ancient stage and some exquisite ancient buildings.

Yanhe City is located in the Grand Canyon in the northwest of Mentougou District, which used to be the throat of the capital.

According to research, the Great Wall and Badaling Great Wall were both built by Qi Jiguang, a famous anti-Japanese, whose main function was to prevent northern nomads from invading Beijing by water along Yongding River.

As a military fortress, Yanhe City is fortified by city walls, and the whole village is completely surrounded by city walls. Its defensive characteristics make it possible to reduce the length of the border to be surrounded by the city wall when choosing the village form, so the whole village presents a defensive centralized layout.

Transportation: Just navigate to Yanhe City by car and get off at m 15 or m33.
