The earthquake destroyed Nuorilang Waterfall in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, which reduced the water surface width of Sunset Lang Waterfall and destroyed all kinds of vegetation in the upper reaches. Compared with before, the scenery is greatly reduced, especially in the dry season, the whole riverbed is exposed, which is particularly bleak. However, in the rainy season in summer, the scenery is as beautiful as before, but not so spectacular.

The earthquake also caused the Huohuahai dam to break, and a large amount of lake water was lost to low-lying areas. There used to be a sea of fireworks, because the lake would show a little appearance under the irradiation of sunlight, like a dream of thousands of sparks burning and blooming. But now, due to the earthquake, there is a gap in the landscape of the Huohuahai, and the original water in Haizi is almost exhausted. Not only did it lose its former beauty, but it also exposed the bare yellow land. Some banks in Haizi even collapsed, so geological monitors were established here.

Although the earthquake caused a gap in the edge of the Huohuahai, and the water loss revealed a strange karst landform, it merged with the downstream Shuanglong Sea to form a new Shuanglong Sea Waterfall. Although Shuanglonghai Waterfall is not as good as the previous Luoxialang Waterfall in terms of drop and width, because Shuanglonghai is downstream, it has a large amount of water and a fast flow rate after accumulating the water source of the Huohuahai. This originally unremarkable waterfall has become a major landscape to replace the Sunset Lang Waterfall.

In addition, other scenic spots have not changed much, and the scenery after restoration is not much different from the original. The color of the color pool is still gorgeous, the mirror sea is still clear, and the water quality of Jiuzhaigou has not been affected by the earthquake, and it is still the same as before.
