Where is Dalianghu Village located?

Dalianghu Village is located 3 kilometers east of Suji Town. There are 485 households with a total population of 1,691, all of whom are Han nationality. The land area is 10.5 square kilometers and the total cultivated land is 4540 acres. The terrain is flat, mostly saline-alkali land, and is low-lying and prone to waterlogging. It is mainly agricultural, mainly producing wheat, corn, soybeans, sorghum, etc. There is a harbor highway passing through the north of the village.

In the second year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1404), the Sun family moved to this village from Hongdong County, Shanxi. Therefore the land is deserted. Wolves and tigers often appear, so it is called "Langhu Village". In the 30th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1904), a man named Yang Zenghui came to Wudi to serve as magistrate of Wudi County. He said that "wolves and tigers can eat sheep (yang)", which was not good for him, so he ordered Langhu Village to be changed to Lianghu Village. Because the village is larger among several good households, it is customarily called Daliang House.

The village has a watermelon trading market.

Near Dalianghu Village there are tourist attractions such as Haixing Wetland, Maliu Mountain Relics, Haixing Hill, Eastern Han Emperor Mausoleum, and Haixing Wanghai Temple.
