Introduction to China Tourism Cadre Management Institute
China Tourism Management Institute (CTMI) was established in Tianjin in 1987 with the official approval of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education. It is the earliest tourism professional higher education institution in China jointly invested and constructed by the Chinese government and the United Nations Development Program and directly led by the National Tourism Administration. It is also one of the largest institutions of higher learning specializing in tourism education in China. On May 14, 2010, the China Tourism Management Cadre College was reorganized and transferred to Nankai University, and a new School of Tourism and Service of Nankai University was established.
